"Got a man and forgot all about a bitch."; Sherika said and I laughed.

I hugged her and closed the door behind him. We walked in the living room and she sat down next to me.

"So, how've you been?", I asked.

"I've been alright. Got engaged. No biggie."

My eyes widened and I smiled.

"When was this?!"

I looked at her hand and she handed a huge rock on her finger.

"Last week. It was unexpected."

"I'm so happy for you Rika. That's huge."

"How's your love life going?"

"I'm talking to someone. He's handsome, fine, cute, and he has 2 kids. Twin girls."

"I want to meet this Mr. Handsome."

I looked at the time and got up.

"Follow me."

We walked out the house and went over to his. I knocked on the door and Malaysia opened the door.

"Ms. Nicki!"

"Hey pretty girl. Where's your daddy?"

"He's upstairs doing Heaven's hair.", she said and I nodded.

I picked her up and went upstairs to Meek's room.

"Sit still Hev. I'm almost done.", Meek said.

"Stay right here Rika.", I whispered and she nodded.

I put Malaysia down and quietly walked in the room. I snuck up behind him and kissed his neck. He turned around and smiled and kissed my forehead.

"Hey. How you get in here?"

"Laysia let me in."

"Hi Ms. Nicki!", Heavem yelled.

She kneeled down to her level and kissed her forehead.

"Oh, I want you to meet someone Meek. Sherika this is Meek, Meek this is my best friend Sherika."

"Nice to meet you.", Meek said.

They shook each other's hand and I gave Malaysia a kiss on her forehead.

"Oh yeah, can you stand with them at the bus stop today? I have to log into work early."

"You know I don't mind. You guys get your stuff together."

They ran out the room and Meek kissed me. He brought me closer to him and I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"I'm third-wheeling here and I do not appreciate it.", Sherika joked.

We laughed and I looked over at her.

"I'll be back."

He nodded and licked his lips.

"Sexy ass."

I smiled, blushing and walked out the room and the girls ran past me going down the stairs.

"They're so cute.", Sherika said.

"They make me want to have one."

We walked out the house and started walking to the bus stop.

"I could see you and him having some kids. Some pretty and handsome ones, with a whole lot of hair."

"Who knows. We're just taking it one day at a time for right now. I really like him though."

"Your ex popped up at the shop yesterday. Asking us if we knew who Meek was and shit like that."

"Daddy said that's a bad word.", Malaysia said.

"My bad. Forgot they were here for a second."

We continued talking then their bus came.

"Bye girls. I'll see you when you come back. Be good."

I kissed their cheeks and watched them get on the bus. Once the bus pulled off, we started walking back to Meek's house.

"Well looks like I'm needed. I'll see you later boo.", Sherika said.

I hugged her and made sure she made it to her car safe then walked in the house.

"Meek!"

"In the office!"

I put my slides on and went to the office. I sat on the couch and grabbed a snack.

"What time you get off?", I asked.

"It's 7 so, 4:30.", he said and I nodded.

"I have to go to the shop at 12 and I should be back by 3."

"Alright. You staying with me until then?"

"You know it."

He smiled and went back to working.

I walked in the shop and Oscar walked up to me mad.

"Anybody want to tell me what happened?", I asked angry.

I looked around and my shop was a mess.

"First of all, who let Marcus in here?!"

Everybody stayed silent and I threw a brush.

"So nobody can talk now?! Everybody go home!"

They ran out the shop except Oscar & Thembi. I sat down in a chair and put my head in my hands.

"You want to fall the police?", Oscar asked.

"No. I'll handle it. Lets just get this place cleaned up."

After we cleaned up, Marcus walked in with a smile on his face.

"See you got my little message."

"Fuck you."

"I would, but that's not appropriate right now."

I rolled my eyes and sat down in my chair.

"I could stop all I'm doing. All you have to do is come with me and we can be together again."

"I don't want you Marcus. We broke up for a reason. Remember that!"

"Alright. I gave you a chance. Be careful."

He was about to walk out but stopped and turned around.

"Oh yeah. Tell Meek to watch his back. Especially his daughters. I know he would be devastated if anything ever happened to them."

He smirked and walked out the shop.

"Go home Nika. We have the shop from here."

"Thank you guys."

I hugged them then walked out. I got in my car and put my head on the wheel and sighed.

Out until the 3rd. Yay ☺️
