Prismaz sighed, quivering with excitment as the tip of her tail twitched. She stood, sorounded by the chatters and squeaks of mice as the waited for the map to load. She sucked in a breath, and brinched the bridge of her nose, squeezing her eyes tightly. Would everything go okay? What was the levels like? She finally opened her eyes and held her breath as the shaman came forward, head and tail held high.
He stood on his hind legs, arms stretched out as his paws glowed with held in energy. An invisible plank appeared in front of him, and the mice watched like it was the last seconds of a baseball game. Mesmerized, Prismaz looked up and stared, her eyes wide.
The shaman continued to summon at a hurried pace. Sweat formed on his face as his paws glowed again. The last plank appeared in front of him, neatly fitting in with all the rest of the building.
"Wow!"
"That was amazing!"
"You go sham!"
Squeaks resounded all around her, ringing in her ears as some of the mice jumped up and punched a clenched fist in the air. All at once, the mice rushed forward, tongues lolling and whiskers twitching as they propelled themselves forward. Prismaz followed after them, muscles pumping. Everything whirled around her, and she suddenly felt herself sprawling down, face first. Only a few shouts were heard.
"Get out of my way!"
Prismaz heaved herself to her paws, dizzy and confused with exhaustion. With one last huff, she hurled herself over the last plank, heaved the cheese onto her back and whirled around to cross the other bridge. The other mice had already entered into the mousehole, and she and the shaman were the only one left.
"Freeze her!" One of the mice called out offensively, poking her head out of the hole. Prismaz sucked in another breath, her heart beating rappidly. Time seemed to slow down for her as the shaman walked slowly over to her, muscles rippling beneath his well groomed gray fur.
"Leave her alone. She's knew here." He said cooly, stalking over to Prismaz. Her threw out his arms, and his paws began to glow a blue hue. Prismaz shrinked back and squeezed her eyes shut and threw her paws over her eyes, already beginning to feel the hot tears pricking her eyes.
"Don't worry." Before she knew it, she was teleported back to the mouse hole. Several heads were poked out, some of them peering curiously at her, while others glared at her with unmistakable hatred.
"She deserves to live. Go on." The shaman urged Prismaz, a kind smile cracking over his features. With an awkward nod and a flick of her tail, Prismaz squeezed herself inside the mouse hole, a warm feeling flooding her chest.
The shaman hurried in after next, gracefully covering the distance in a few short bounds, her flew into the mouse hole.
---
The screen loaded in front of Prismaz and she quivered excitedly again. Was she going to meet another kind, cool shaman? What was in store for her?
She stepped forward excitedly, her whipping through the air like a knife. She pushed her way through the croud, muttering apolagies. A collective gasp sounded through the mice, and they threw themselves torwards her way.
"Get out of here!"
"Save yourselves!"
"Killer troll!"
Prismaz flicked her ears. What was going on? Blood curling screams of terror and death echoed through her ears as she raised her head to gaze at the shaman.
He stared at her, a murderous wicked gleam in his eyes. Blood stained and matted his brown chestnut fur. His face cracked into a grin, stretching around his face. He stood, a cannon ball propped up in his paws, he held it against his side.
"Hello, pretty mouse."
