Armani:

     I stared out into the cold and frosty weather, seeing the wind take form in snow and how it danced throughout the streets of New York . Leaping throughout every neighborhood with a nonstop rhythm.I sat in my office chair staring out the large vertical window facing the beautiful lonely city. I don't know what I hated more the coldness or the loneliness it brought. Being stuck all day in one place really made my seasonal depressed act up.

Another night another dollar.

I always was the last one to stay after hours in my office, especially near the holidays. It somehow got lonelier when Christmas got closer. All that happy and joyful shit wasn't rubbing on me. All it did was made me to work harder to ignore the empty void inside of my heart, I felt like something was missing. But what? What else could I possibly need I make myself happy?
I sighed and laid back again onto my chair feeling less motivated than before.

"Hey, boss I'm going to clock out . I have to meet the wifey and the kids for some activities we promised them to do." A soft male voice echoed , I diverted my attention back to the voice, it was one of my employees that stood in the doorway. He zipped up his jacket and shot me a smile with his thin lips .

"Yeah that's fine I'll close up don't worry." I replied with a weak smile. He nodded and processed to close the door.

"Hey...Mathew I have a question." I muttered I placed my hands on the desk closing my laptop .

"Yeah what's up boss ?" He came back with insight.

" How did you find love so easily at a young age?" I blurted out , my eyes widened as I realized what I said.

The loneliness really getting to me now. Ugh.

A surprised looked sat on his face trying to process what I said. He stared at me with a confused face

"I- errr..love?" He rambled back he adjusted his blond hair out of his face and looked at me .

"Sorry it's fine if you don't want to answer."
I stammered in embarrassment. I quickly opened up my laptop and pretend to do something. I hid my face ... fuckkk ...How am I going to come back from this ???

"NO-it's fine you just caught me off guard that's all ...But to answer your question. I wasn't looking for love. It just happened. I was doing my own thing , making my own money, focusing on myself. She came along at the perfect time when everything was just right. All I did was show her why my sunrises and shines for her causes my world." He purred with an expression of heartfelt delight that diffused on his face, his smile widen thinking back to the memory.

"That's sweet ...I wish it was that simple. " I replied , I buried my head back into my laptop 

Imagine it was that simple. I've built myself an empire with my own throne in it with everything I wanted. Yet I still don't have something that everyone else has.

"Have you ever had a boyfriend??" he challenged, making me snap out of my thoughts. He leaned onto the door waiting for my answer. His eyes looked at me with curiosity.

"Yeah. Umm like 3 in my whole life the rest were harmless flings that I-" I stopped realizing I was rambling off onto the past that didn't have any meaning. The crazy part is I think that's the most I've probably said in this building about my outside life.

"Go out.You're still young. You probably need a different environment to make those types of decisions like a vacation or something. The unexpected love is always the best."

"Yeah.. I guess you're right.. thank you for the advice" I replied , he smiled and nodded closing my door making it echo through the room.

Now it was just me,myself and I.

The wind hallowed in agony like a wolf trying to find its pact. I shut off my laptop and leaned back in my seat looking at the storm forming behind the window.
Just great I have to drive in that. Anyways Its time I went home i can't always avoid being lonely.

I packed up my things and grabbed my coat near the door and walk out shutting off all the lights leading into the evlavtor. The lights shut up one by one making me feel like I was on a runway towards the elevator.

I walked in and pressed the buttons to my right and wait as the elevator slid down "LEVEL 1" chimed the elevator. The sliver doors opened revealing Marco the lobby man, he looked up and shot me a smile
" Another late night Armani??" he chuckled opening the door for me.
"The usual time makes money" I replied smilingly weakly.
The cold air slapped my face sending shivers down my neck onto my body. I hugged my coat bringing it closer trying to make some type of heat with my small body. I hated winter out of all the seasons , especially winters in the city's are the most brutal ones to deal with .
The valet brought out my car from the parking just time time before I lost my mind in the cold...
