Though I wanted so badly to leave I sit on my bed. Awaiting her next words. Let me tell you, I was not expecting what was to come next. Boy, I really wish I could have gotten out of here while I had a chance.
"You are to stay in your room. Your parents and siblings have gone somewhere secret and they have hired me as a babysitter." She spoke so slow, as if she was talking to someone who didn't speak the same language. Her voice sounded like one being this time,
So I suppose that should count for something."You're lying. They wouldn't leave me here with a stranger. I can handle my own." In my head I'm doing everything I can to debunk the fact that they could have actually left me behind with someone I have no clue about. "They would have taken me with them... I think."
All she does is laugh before glaring at me. "They had something important to plan for you. They will be back by tomorrow I promise."
I remained silent. Not too surprising that she ended up doing the same. Yet, in a weird way our eyes continue to evaluate each other. I can tell she was trying to figure me out, as I was pulling at the end of my Star Wars shirt I disconnect the eye contact she was so eager to continue.
"Make yourself at home in this room of yours and they will be back before you know it." Just like that, she was up and halfway out of the door before I could look up to see what was going on.
"What about food, water and a bathroom?" I questioned. With this I'm only given a smile and once again she was gone. Great. I couldn't just sit here I needed to get out somehow.
Think."Think." I whispered as I went to my closet, grabbing one of the metal Star Wars piggy banks I had since I was like three. To be honest I don't know why I didn't try to break the door handle but I threw it through through the window. As soon as it shattered the fragile sheet I ran to the window.
"Help! Please help me!" I screamed, looking up and down the road. This is probably the only time that there was nobody walking on the sidewalks. Damn.
I stuck my head out of the window. I'm on the second floor, I may have muscle but if I jump something will break. Such as my leg or ankle. So that was definitely out of the question, turning to face the door I cross my arms. If I try to break out of the room. I have to face her and definitely get myself beat up.
I guess waiting until tomorrow will have to happen.

I was calmly minding my own business after having the small talk with the boy I figured everything would be free flowing from there. So without a care I sat down on the couch and flicked on the tv. Laughing while I watched the news anchor plead to give tips to my where abouts.
"That's the thing, I'm not a girl.. Nobody will find me." I muttered as the man on screen referred to me as 'the young woman.' Pft, did he just assume my gender? I ran my fingers through my hair as a soft sigh escaped my lips.
Out of nowhere I heard a crash. My heart stopped when I put two and two together. He broke the window upstairs. It had to be the one in his room. There's know way he could have gotten out. Now the question was, would he leave? No. I knew he wouldn't leave. Even if he did, his parents cars will be in the driveway so he'd know they are 'home.'
Even though I knew he would remain in his room I decided to take a trip to his bedroom door to let him know I heard him. When I got to his door I knocked a few times before slightly shouting,
"Hey, nice try kid. Break something else and I'll have to punish you. What do you think your parents would say?" After shouting this I pressed my ear to the door. As I heard nothing I began to get nervous. Maybe he really did jump out. Now that thought was in my head I needed to check, if he got out I may be going back to the asylum sooner than I thought.
"That's not happening." I whispered as I unlocked his door and slowly opened it. Doing my best to scan the whole room before I entered. After taking g a few steps into the room the poor... Poor boy jumped out at me.

I knew she was coming. I just knew it so when she was talking to me from outside the door I grabbed the only thing I could before she made her way into my room. Without a second though I jumped in front of her. Doing my best to scare her I screamed before swinging the light saber I had in my hands.
I smiled as it collided with her head... But... But nothing happened. She just sat there, staring at me. I looked down to my light saber going to swing again. Yet, who knew as I swung the very professional object had broke in two.
"What's your deal kid?" She asked harshly.
"I-I'm sorry... I." Of course I stammered. All I wanted to do was leave. Find my mom and dad and find out what's going on here. I was so full of adrenaline I felt sick to my stomach.
"Come on kid. I know you're smarter than that." Tilting her head I saw her eyes squint.
"I-I am. Trust my I am. I didn't mean anything by it... I swear." I couldn't come up with anything else to say but by the look on her face it wouldn't have mattered to her, she wasn't listening.
"You want to see your parents right? Your brother? Your sister even? Well you can... I'll just be right back." Just like that; just like that she was gone. The door was again locked in my face.
So I sat there. On the ground, broken toy in hand; awaiting what's next. If only I knew what were to happen next I wouldn't have tried leaving.
