lovely review of everything because I haven't updated since I was in the womb.

~Cora and Lydia Prescott have returned from their summer trip to Brazil for their junior year. They return to their brother's return from jail for murder. Caleb, was a drug addict who joined a gang to protect him and his pride from unpaid fines. New kid Jake is helping Cora cope with the dramatics of her family. Lydia, who was raped during a kidnapping is doing it alone.Lydia is receiving notes in her locker concerning Caleb's case. Caleb has returned to town and is in unknown trouble.

--------------------------------

Jake took Cora home that morning silently. She was surprised to see a clean house. Lydia must've hired someone.

She had a moment to grab an apple before the doorbell rang. Because of the time she figured it was the mail and opened it. There was standing the infamous brown sheriff uniform.

"Ms. Prescott, I have a few questions." he said before rudely stepping in around her.

He looks around for a moment before turning to face her.

Assuming it was concerning the party Cora called "Lydia!"

Lydia's steps began down the stairs.

"Actually I wanted to speak to you, Cora." he looked own then back up at her.

"Oh." She mutters.

She leads him to the table to sit. As they sit down Lydia appears.

"Not this again." Lydia states rolling her eyes.

"I'm here for Cora." The sheriff repeated once again.

"Oh this has to be good!"Lydia said pulling up a chair, clearly getting ready for a show.

The sheriff rolled his eyes.

"Cora have you been in contact with Caleb since his release?" The girls stiffened.

"What is this concerning?" Cora questioned back at him.

"Caleb will break his parole if he even attempts contact with you girls." The sheriff stated.

"No"Lydia responded coldly "You can come back with our parents present and a lawyer."

Sheriff Blake looks at Cora. She nods in agreement with her twin.

The sheriff gets up silently and leaves the house. Lydia locks the door behind him. She stared at the door for a second. Then turned and walked casually upstairs, void of emotion. Cora sat staring at the table blankly until the arrival of their parents.

They both walked in the door and put their suit cases away and didn't say a word to either of the twins.

Cora sat in her bed and received a call from an unknown number. she answered.

"Hello?" Cora said

"I had to ditch my phone they were onto me."Caleb stated.

'Caleb, what the hell?" Cora instantly lowers her vice into a harsh whisper.

"What?" He questions

"Your breaking parole you dumb ass." She responded rudely

"I need help Cora." She hesitated

"Not my problem." she stated harshly before ending the call.

She set her phone on the bed and began to cry.

He made his bed, he needs to lay in it.

--------

Lydia heard the exchange while walking down the hallway. She knocked on Cora's door.

"Come in." Cora states

Lydia enters and sits on the bed next to Cora.

"I think we should help him." Lydia responds grasping Cora's attention.

"How much more can we let him ruin our life?" Asked Cora

"As much as he wants, he's family." Lydia says looking Cora in the eye for the first time.

"Are you sure?" Asked Cora

"More than anything." Responded Cora

Cora reaches for Lydia's hand and holds it in a soothing way.

If he goes down. They will go down with him.
