Chapter 4: When we met
* Adam's POV *
I walked outside feeling like a boss. I mean, this dare is obviously easy.
Of course, it ended as fast as thunder when I saw Kendall walking towards the restaurant.
I quickly stopped walking and decided to walk back. As I was starting to walk back to the restaurant, I saw the others near a window glaring at me, clearly knowing that I was going to ask for another dare. I sighed and turned back.
Kendall: Hey Ad!
I jumped a bit as I saw her in front of me, obviously not expecting for her to walk that fast.
Me: Oh, uh, hey . . Ken.
Kendall smiled sweetly at me.
Kendall: Why are you out here? Are you about to leave? I was about to go in.
Me: Yeah, I've noticed. Uh, and no. I wasn't leaving. I, uhm, was just . . Thinking?.
Kendall: Oh . . Well, let's go inside. I have some news to tell.
I nodded and we both went back inside. As soon as I saw them, I kind of wanted to just walk away by their glares.
Kendall: Hey guys!
Jada: Hey Ken! What are you doing here? I thought you didn't wanted to come.
Kendall: Well, I was on the social media, as usual, and I found this post. I thought you guys would be interested in.
Kendall took out her phone and showed us the screen.
Zachary: A band competition?
Kendall nodded excitedly.
Kendall: The place is literally like 10 blocks away from me. And we would have tons of time to think about it since the registration is in 2 weeks! The competition would be in 3 months!
Dylan: Ken, it is great and all, but we have to ask Mayson.
Kendall nodded, grabbed a chair from the other table, and sat down.
Kendall: Obviously. I just wanted to see if you are at least interested.
Angel: It would be cool. Rose, Phil, and I could get to cheer you on. -She smiled.
Dan: Well, you are still auditioning for the band. You probably can get to cheer us on, on stage.
Angel nodded still with a smile on her face. It seems to be that her smiles are contagious because next thing we know is that we are all smiling. I looked around and we sure are smiling.
