"Yah! Park Jinhee!"

A tall beautiful girl with a slightly wavy brown haired suddenly approached the girl with a big glasses with her hair tight up in a bun, which is the school's nerd.

The said girl then turned around to face Lee Soohyun and her minions, the school's queen bee. "Yes?" She asked.

Soohyun scoffed slightly before taking a step forward to her, "I heard you're gonna tutor my boyfriend, is that true?" She frowned before furrowing her eyebrows.

Jinhee looked at her before nodding her head, "Mrs.Kim wants me to tutor him for this upcoming maths test."

Soohyun narrowed her eyes at her before reaching out her hand towards her forehead and poked it repeatly while she spoke, "If you're flirting with him, you're a dead meat." Before she walked away sassily with her minions.

After Soohyun left her sight, she turned around facing her locker before opening it as she mumbled softly under her breathe, "Yeah, as if I'm going to flirt him." Before taking out some books she needed for the class lessons.

Jinhee walked inside her classroom and took a sit at her usual seat at the back besides the window, no one sits beside her, because they don't want to sit besides a nerd. They don't even bother to befriend with her, but she didn't mind though since she used to it already.

The bell then rang, her homeroom teacher, Mrs.Jung then finally came in to start the lesson, but she wasn't alone, there's a guy behind her.

Everyone in the class started to murmur about him, and it made Jinhee feel irritated and annoyed for some reasons.

Mrs.Jung announced that he was a new student, and the guy introduced himself, and it makes the girls squeals and flirts.

And guess what? he sits beside none other than a girl named Park Jinhee, which making the girls gave her a dirty looks and ugly glares.

Jinhee didn't care about it, she rolled her eyes in annoyance.

Just to her surprise, the new guy turned to look at her before reaching out his hand, probably asking for a handshakeㅡ which she didn't even bother taking it and that makes him feel embarassed for some reasons.

He then flashed a wide smile, "I'm Mingyu. You are?"

aish why is he talking to meㅡ She thought before returning back a small smile to him. "I'm Jinhee, Park Jinhee."

He nodded as he repeated her name softly, "Park Jinhee.. hm, such a beautiful name for a beautiful girl."

She blushed upon hearing the compliments he gave her, she didn't know what to do because it was kind of her first time getting such a compliment from someone she just met literally just minutes ago.

She ignored him by facing infront, looking at the board and started to concentrate on the lesson.

Jinhee was about to walk away when someone grabbed her wrist, she was shocked for a moment and was about to twist the hand when the person suddenly spoke making her stopped.

She turned to look at the back. It was Mingyu.

"Uh.." She looked at her wrist before looking back at him, Mingyu noticed her expression and immediately letting go of her hand and apologized.

She shook her head while flashing a soft smile, "It's okay. Anyway, what did you say a while ago?"

He looked at her and grinned widely, "Ah, I'm wondering if you want to go to the cafeteria and meet my friends?"

Friends? She thought.

She then looked around her, everyone was looking at her with judgement. Since she is a nerd, everyone gave her a dirty look when Mingyu talked to her. Mingyu noticed her expression again, and he suddenly felt disappointed but he understood her so he just let her be.

"I'm sorry, Mingyu. I suddenly have something to do.. maybe next time." She mumbled softly at the last part, before walking away and bid a goodbye to him.

Jinhee brought her legs to the school's rooftop, her no.1 favourite place. She felt safe and ease whenever she came here. She really like it. She then took a sit on the bench and closed her eyes while humming softly to her favourite song.

Just then, her phone vibrated, making her stopped at whatever she was doing. She unlocked her phone and began to read the text message from her brother, Park Jinwoo.

Jinwoo: Jinhee, I'll be coming home late tonight. So that means I cant take you home. You can go alone right?

Jinhee: oh, ofcourse oppa. No worries! Come back home safely! :)

She heaved a sigh after she shoved her phone back to her pocket, she let out a soft chuckle before telling herself something.

"Guess you'll be coming home late too, Park Jinhee."

The time flies so fast. It was time to go home. Everyone rushed outside and left the school with excitement with their friends.

As for Jinhee, ofcourse she was going alone.

Well, that was not last long. Not until Mingyu approached her and asked if he could walk her home since he didn't want her to be alone.

Jinhee couldn't say no because she already rejected his offered twice. So she let him. But then he just ruined her plan for tonight.

She let out a long sigh.

"What's wrong?" Mingyu asked while raising an eyebrow.

They were taking a short path to reach to Jinhye's house, they were walking side by side.

"You just ruined my plan for tonight!" She snapped before realising what she said, she widened her eyes. "Oh I'm really sorry!"

Mingyu blinked his eyes before letting out a chuckle, "Oh It's okay. Dont be sorry. But what did I do though?" He asked as he rubbed his nape awkwardly, looking at the said girl.

"Ah no no! Don't take it wrong. You didn't do something wrong!" She shook her head continuously as she waved both of her hand, looking at him with a guilty look on her face.

He patted her head before flashing a sheepish smile, "You're cute." Then walked away quickly, leaving her behind dumbfounded.

"Ah he did not just say that..." She mumbled softly before catching up with him.

"So.. thankyou for walking me home, Mingyu." She smiled softly.

The tall guy just nodded while smiling widely, "No problem! I'm glad you let me, I hope we can be close friends from now on."

upon hearing that, she didnt have any confident but she nodded her head anyway.

"So see you tomorrow?" He said, looking at her.

"See you tomorrow. come back hoke safely!" She flashed a soft smile before they both bid a goodbye to each other.

The night finally comes. Jinhye still couldn't sleep as she still thinking about today's meeting with the tall guy named Kim Mingyu.

Mingyu treated her like she never get treat before. She finally get treat as if she really is visible, like she finally is there. Atleast to someone, at school. And she felt happy because of that.

As she was having a deep happy thought about him, her phone suddenly beep and vibrated causing her to snapped on her own thoughts.

She quickly grabbed her phone and read the text message.
