A boy—maybe fourteen or fifteen— stood in front of you. The ally you both were in was dark and quiet, only some moonlight flickering over the roofs. He flashed you a smirk that could melt holes through you and took a step toward you, keeping his icy blue eyes trained on you. "You want to join, hmm?" His voice was slick, smooth, as if he was never stressed and always calm. "Well then, you'll need to steal something for me first."
