4. Fairy Tail

I sighed and sat the pictures down, looking at them and feeling bad isn't going to fix anything. It's only been a few days since that happened, I've stayed in my house and never went out every since that happened, I don't want to hurt anymore people...

Also, everyone thinks i'm dead. If they saw me walking around they would freak out (Well Natsu would probably freak out thinking that i'm a zombie.) and they might figure out that I was the one who killed everyone. 

Though, It's been pretty lonely...

I used to live here with Frosch, she'd sleep right next to me sometimes she'd just sleep on my chest. Her frog suit was pretty soft so I was fine with her sleeping on my chest. I remember her calling my name in the morning when Sting and Lector had arrived to tell us something or if she wanted some breakfast.

Ugh I need to stop thinking about the past, I need to start thinking about the future and the present.

I walked towards the window and looked outside, it all looked pretty normal.

But, one thing was different.

The guild.

It was destroyed, it was still standing, but I could see the huge hole in the side that I had made when fighting Minerva and Yukino.

I closed the curtains and went into the kitchen, I opened the fridge.

Empty...

Of course...

I sighed and looked out the window, no one was outside. I guess this is a good time to get some food, but where?

Can't go to the store, it's going be packed...

Can't go to the guild, nobody's there...

Fairy Tail...

They do have good cooking and they most likely have some supplies...

But...

Fuck it, i'm going...

I opened the door and walked outside, it felt wet and cold outside and the clouds were grey and covering the sun. It was just perfect, even though it looked like it going to rain soon. I better get to their guild fast, it's pretty far away though.

I ran and then changed into a shadow and tried to run as fast as I could, haven't done this in a long time!

~Time skip~

I finally got to Fairy Tail and it was raining, I had to run in the rain to get here since my magic gave up on me, so I was tired and hungrier than I was when I was at home! I should of just let myself starve...

I slowly opened the doors, everyone stared at me. Great, it's exactly how i thought they would react.

"Rogue?!" Fairy Tail shouted in unison.

Natsu walked up to me and poked me, "Are you real?" I smacked his hand "Of course i'm real, idiot!" I snapped at him.

Fairy Tail still stared at me dumbfounded, "Maybe he's just a projection...?" Wendy said tilting her head to the side a little. "No he can't be one, I just touched him and he touched me back." Natsu told the small dragon slayer.

"It's really me." I told them with a stoic expression, why did I come here again?

"But, how?" Lucy asked, "How what?" I looked at her "How did you survive?"

Oh...

Dang it, I have to think of an excuse, fast!

Think, think, think!

"I uh, just changed into a shadow to get away from the murderer." I lied not showing any emotion, "You just left you comrades?!" she shouted in shock "No! I... I found the murderer, I was the last one to fight him and I knew I couldn't defeat him so I had to flee." I said, feeling kind of bad for lying to them.

"You didn't stay and fight?" Natsu yelled.

"I did, but I left as soon as I saw all my guild mates dead."

"If you really cared you would of fought him even if they were dead!"

"I... I didn't want to get myself killed."

"So you fled like a wimp?"

I bit my lip, from the story I told them it does seem like I was being a wimp and leaving my friends behind.

"Natsu!" Erza yelled, she let out a sigh. "That doesn't matter right now, all that matters is that you're alive, Rogue." 

"But!-"

"Natsu."

"..."

"You can stay here for a few days Rogue." She turned to me "I wasn't really planning on staying..." I rubbed the back of my head "You will stay here, everyone thinks you're dead if you go out now you will put everyone in shock." Erza told me.

 She was right, maybe I should stay here for a while... 

I mean what's the harm?
