Life after Death

Chapter 1.

Katniss pov-

I found my self in the woods running but I'm not sure from what. Finally I stopped running and turned around seeing clove the female tribute from district 2 and She was coming at me with a knife. I reached back expecting to find my quiver of arrows but couldn't find anything. All of the sudden I was on the ground. I realized that clove must of knocked me over. I was screaming now but she didn't stop. She was on me knife in hand and started to cut along my face. This time there was no thresh there to stop her.

I woke up screaming and sweaty. I looked over and saw Peeta looking at me worriedly. "Another Nightmare?" he asked. Yah I say finally calming down. "Would it help if you talked about it?" he wondered. I don't know but i guess it's worth a try. I told Peeta all about my nightmare which I admit did make me feel a little better. When I finished I looked over at the clock in our room which said 3:30. I decided it was still way to early and went back to sleep.

I woke up glad I didn't have another nightmare. I looked over and saw that Peeta was still asleep. I felt bad because I wake him up 1-3 times a night with my nightmares but he doesn't seem to mind and he is the only person that can calm me down afterwords. I slowly got up trying not to wake Peeta and went to take a shower.

When I got out of the shower I noticed Peeta wasn't in bed. He must have gone downstairs already. I finish drying myself off and go pick out what I'm going to where. I finally decide on some black skinny Jeans and a red T-Shirt. I walk downstairs and see Peeta in the kitchen making pancakes for breakfast. He turns and looks at me. "Good morning Beautiful," he says while hugging me. Good morning handsome I say back. I sit down at the table and Peeta brings over a plate full of pancakes and two glasses if orange juice. After breakfast Peeta goes and gets ready for work at the bakery and I decide that I'm final going to go hunting
