Chapter 5: Night Class and the Disciplinary Committee
Kira's POV
I walk out of my room after changing some things around in it. I walk over to Mira's room only to find her and some of the others are gone. 'She went to town and left me behind,' I thought to myself.
I was a little pissed my best friend left me behind, but I can guess why she did. I was heading down to the lounge area when someone stops me. I look at the person to see it's Kaname, and a look of relief crosses my face. I was glad it was him instead of someone else. I was glad it wasn't Zero. "What do you want?" I asked sounding a little colder than I wanted too.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go for a walk before the disciplinary committee got here?" Kaname questioned.
"I would like that," I said with a smile.
After I said that Kaname grabs my hand and pulls me toward the door. After a few minutes of silence of walking around Kaname is the first to break it. "Why won't you tell me who bit you?" Kaname questioned.
"Kaname, I told you it was nothing to worry about," I answered.
"That's not answering my question," he stated.
"I took care of it so you don't need to worry about it; it won't happen again," I told him.
Still remembering the thing with Zero I knew it was a matter of time before Kaname found out. I needed to talk to Zero though before Kaname did anything. I know I should tell him, but I have my reasons for not telling him. Kaname looks down still pissed that I won't tell him. He let's out a sigh and looks at me. "You have your reasons for not telling me. So just tell me when you're ready," he stated.
I nod in reply with a small smile. As we were walking back to inside the dorm we heard the disciplinary committee. "I'm going to hang out here for a little longer; I will be in soon," I told him pecking him on lips.
I turn and start to walk away, but someone grabs my wrist stopping me. "Be careful," Kaname told me before pulling me into him.
He let's go and walks inside. I walk towards a fountain and sit on the edge. "I never expected to see you here," someone stated walking up behind me.
I jump at the sound of the voice turning around I see Hio Shizuka and Rido Kuran standing there. Jumping up from the fountain to my feet I stare at Hio and Rido. A look of fear crosses my face. Rido was the only person who I feared. "Well I'm going to look for that other girl," Hio stated walking away.
"Who would have thought you would come out of hiding," Rido Kuran stated.
"What are you doing here?" I questioned/snapped.
"I was here to finish what I started with Angel, but Hio can take care of that. I'll finish what I started with you instead," Rido stated with a smirk.
I take a step back all the confidence I had earlier was gone. I didn't know why this man scared me so bad. "A vampire like you shouldn't be here," I heard someone growl walking up next to me.
It was Zero and he was the last person I expected to see here. "Z-Zero?" I stuttered.
"Neither do you Level E," Rido shot back.
I looked at Zero as he stood there glaring at Rido Kuran. I hated that I was scared of this Pureblood. This Pureblood almost killed me though. Then the next thing I know is someone has their hand around my neck. I look into the eyes of Rido Kuran and my blood goes cold. I notice Zero hesitated to make a move. "Your blood smells so sweet. I wonder if it tastes the way it smells," Rido said smirking at my reaction.
