Prologue
In the beginning vampires, angels and werewolves were once united, working side by side. Vampires would hunt, Angels would heal the wounded with their blood and werewolves would protect them.
Then humans started roaming the earth, they looked like them and talked like them. They decided to stay far away from them. The humans took over their hunting grounds and old villages. Numbers were falling from the shortage of food supply.
Three friends from each species ran out into the woods. They betrayed their empire and were vanished from the village. They finally reached the borderline and the chasing stopped. They were on their own now. The snap of the twigs up ahead startled the three. “It was probably just a deer” whispered the angel. “Nah it was to heavy” the vampire answered.
A gust of wind sent them flying backwards and they realised that the angel had taken flight. “That bastard! I should have known that he was going to try to find her first!” the vampire said sinking to his knees.
“Its fine Adrian he won’t get far anyway” the werewolf yelled slapping him on the arm.
“I know that but I just want that girl. She is just so beautiful”. More series of twig cracking sent them to their feet. “Who’s there” the werewolf called.
“Jesse stop! They might attack”. Jesse turned around to face Adrian. “Oh Adrian” Jesse purred. “Why would they attack if I could just do the job for them?” Jesse transformed into his wolf version of himself.
His coat was a dark brown with white paws. This wolf wasn’t like any other wolf. It was more than half the size of a human and it had oversized razor sharp claws that could tear anything apart that is why they were chosen to guard, nothing could get past them.
A gun shot stopped them in their tracks. Smoke rose from their village. An uprising had begun between the three species.
Jesse leaped for Adrian. But he was fast; really fast this was a gene that no other species got. This was an advantage.
“I should have finished you both off while I had the chance” Jesse chuckled “Tristen was smart enough to realise this at least but you I can’t even think for”. Jesse tried for a better aimed attack but failed and ran off into the distant darkness of the forest. Adrian could hear him run off.
It was quiet again until series of screams came from a cave up ahead. “Tristen must have gotten to her!” He ran a fast as he could, but by the time he reached it the spell had been cast. The girl was immortal.
Tristen bolted out of the cave with the girl helplessly in his hands and blood running down his pure white wings. “You idiot” Adrian yelled. “Look what you have done!”
Tristen stopped in his tracks, he realised he was caught. “Look Adrian. Now that she is immortal we never haft to worry about her dying. We can fight for her forever” He chuckled. Adrian leaped for Tristen and the girl. He dropped the girl and went for Adrian sensing what he was trying to do.
They clashed and Tristen was sent flying backwards. Now was his chance he ran for the girl and picked her up. Tristen was attempting to get up but couldn’t his bleeding wing mean that he couldn’t fly and was weak for the time being. Without another look back Adrian ran for the nearest human village.
A human couple was walking in the square. Adrian called them. He knew who this couple were; they were forsaken human protectors of their secret.
The couple saw him and ran into the woods. Adrian without another word ran after them.
They were standing under an old oak tree with their thick cloak on. Adrian dropped the girl at their feet, “Tristen got her. She is immortal now. She will continually be born over and over until he breaks the spell. Please take care of her until it is time to finish this war.” And without another word he was gone and the war had begun…
