The actual prologue part 1

Here we go, the actual prologue of this story, the meeting of the protagonists, let's just drop right in.

In this night "RUN, IT'S THE DEVIL!" can be heard from a mass of people running from a satanic looking giant robot that is in the middle of purging a shifter settlement, the people were all screaming as they evacuated their homes in the middle of the night, none of them were prepared for an attack of this scale, not even the guards. As the brave civilians of this town fought the robot along side the guards a certain sound could be heard, the sound of maniacal laughter as bombs filled the sky, the shifters bogeyman had appeared, riding in his tank made of junk. The evacuating shifters began to drop like birds flying through a highly poisonous area, 7 with each explosion, figuring out that the only way out now was if they used their power they started to panic more, as their power requires someone with some other power to be withing their field of vision, causing quite a few to trip and fall, one of them fell face first onto a rock. As this night massacre took place all any on-lookers could hear was explosions, fire, and the laughter of a single person.

As the night ended, so did their screams of agony and fear as they all died in either fire, explosions, or a blizzard of bullets. In the aftermath the bogeyman of the shifters and the pilot of the satan-bot introduced themselves to each other, the pilot started with "G'day, the name's Daisy, thanks for the help purging those shifters mate." popping out of his tank the man said "Good morning, me name's Carl, bogeyman to the shifters." Hearing Carl claim he's the bogeyman Daisy took a moment to respond " Is it true you eat the feet of dead shifters?" he asked, his soot covered face beaming with excitement, but was quickly dissapointed as Carl answered with a swift "nope." While climbing down from his tank Carl mentioned "I do take their things and mutilate their bodies" Carl then proceeded to remove the limbs off of every dead shifter while saying to himself "Remove limb, obtain appendage." In the meantime Daisy was checking the condition of his satan-bot, as well as preparing food for himself and Carl.

After removing the limbs off every body and stealing their things Carl decided to check out the inside of Daisies satan-bot, it was surprisingly small for the inside of a giant robot, walls adorned with pictures and flags filled Carls field of view as he walked around. Aside from those walls the inside of the robot contained the rest of a house, a rather regular house with wooden walls and floors, several ceiling lights, and a kitchen counter over in a corner, and at that counter stands Daisy, a bit spooked as he didn't hear Carl enter, holding two bowls of pasta screws. While handing Carl a bowl Daisy said "Here, you must be hungry after an entire night of not eating." And sure enough, he was, so he immediately started eating right where he was standing while Daisy went over to the only table there. While they were eating Daisy decided to try holding a conversation and said "So what did you do to be known as the shifters bogeyman?"(For this conversation i'm just gonna put it in a simple order of speech below this, C for Carl and D for Daisy)

C: I killed a few thousand of them after torturing two of 'em to find their hidden village, about three shifters survived that massacre.

D: Well holy balogne, that's quite the number.

.....

D: Is it true that your father was a shifter himself?

C: No, but he was a strongman.

D: Where the bull did that rumour come from?

C: Probably from the other guy, hoo boy, he sure seemed insane, seriously, he once dug out a huge cave network, filled it with demon moles, and trapped people in there until either they or the moles were all dead, then he'd go in, kill the survivors and loot all the bodies.

D: how many times did he do that?

C: About 20 times, or so he says.

D: Wow.

C: that's not all he did, after looting he would use the dead bodies to make things, such as wheels, buildings, vehicles, even clothes.

D: well god damn, that's gruesome, but did he ever tell you his name?

C: Nope, but i do know that he wanders everywhere, daily, but always returns to his base over in the Spacial Caves.

D: Isn't that in one of the asteroids?

C: Yes they are, I have absolutely no idea how he gets down, or back up, but what i do know is that he does so on a chopper, it's a bit small though.

D: A whoosh-whoosh kind of chopper or a vrrrrr one?

C: A land one.

D: Wait, what, then how can he have a base in the Spacial Caves?

C: Supposedly he found them, named them, and claimed them.

D: But didn't the utopians do that?

C: They might've just stolen the credit of finding them, which they probably thought they deserved.

D: hm, sounds like they might've stolen all credit for discovery of anything that has been discovered before.

C: They might've done that.

D: So do ya think-

Their conversation was ended there by the sound of explosions right outside, along with little tinks from rocks "WHAT IN FUCK" shouted Daisy as he went to check who, or what, was attacking. Carl ran outside and looked around, he could not see anything but grenades in the air, slow as he was Carl failed to escape the coming explosion, and in that explosion he died, his limbs got blown inward and hit the walls, his head was shattered, and all he left behind where he stood was a big stain of blood and burnt flesh. As Daisy scrambled to close the robot and begin shooting some bombs got inside, and exploded, opening a hole in the floor of the house part, this hole lead all the way down to the leg motors..... Some bombs slipped through and blew up those motors, causing the robot to fall over as a cinder block smashed in through the window, smashing Daisies head against the wall, killing him.

The robot is disassembled within a minute, and all parts of it are gone from the area.
