You were red and you liked me cause I was blue, but you touched me and suddenly I was a lilac sky and you decided purple just wasn't for you.
Remus had been infatuated, or "in love" with Violet Evans for as long as James had been chasing her Gryffindor sister Lily. But he got the girl, in fourth year after Remus told her his secret and opened up to her one night Violet agreed to go on a date that weekend. It lasted a mere three months. Their relationship was over. Boom done. Lupin realized that she wasn't in love with him as he was with her. But he wasn't in love with her to begin with, he was infatuated with the idea of her and when that wore off Lupin became angry, So angry, at the world, at her. He was completely and utterly disappointed.
And that's where the arguments started. Lupin following her and annoying Violet in secluded areas tormenting her mentally because she couldn't live up to his unattainable image of her. He succumbed to the madness within berating Violet to the point that she joined him. And that's what drove the beautiful little Violet to her brink...
