Chapter Four:

Charlie's POV:

As I walk around back I see that a section of the yard that isn't wheat is completely fenced off. On top of the fence there is barbed wire, and strewn in and out of the fence are electric wires. That will be extremely helpful because I can't have anyone running away.

I finish writing down everything and I start going back to the front of the house when I notice a cellar. I walk over to it and pull open the doors. I walk down the steps and flick the switch that turns on a little light in the middle of the huge rooms.

Again everything is all white. On the walls in what I think is written in blood are the words kill me, help, and lots of random blood stains. Besides the graffiti the only things on the walls are chains and shackles. In the middle of the room there is a big table with lots of blood on it. I assume this was some sort of torture, or punishment room, but I didn't think they did that in asylums. I'll have to ask the old man when he comes back.

I turn off the light and walk up the stairs to the outside. I make some final notes about the cellar and go back inside. I walk up the stairs into the attic, I set the notes I made about the asylum on the little desk, I pick up my backpack, pocket my fifty dollars, and head back outside.

As I'm walking down the wheat path towards the weird alley I can't help but smile at all of the new plans that are formulating in my brain. I can't wait to get Will and have him help me.

This ones super short I know! But so much is about to happen so the next chapters will make up for it;)
