She cried out.
She cried out for quite a minor issue, but an issue nonetheless.
She cried for which she did not have a boyfriend, nor a boyfriend-less friend, as all of them are too busy hanging out with said boyfriends and living the teen experience to text her back.
So there she lay, on her couch, for the past day or so, watching romance movies, hoping to live in their true-love fantasy for long enough to where she can do a simple task without wallowing in self-pity.
She was consumed by utter sadness during this lonely December month, as she did not participate in any group gatherings, or so much as get invited to be the third wheel on one of her friends' awkward, yet envious, dates.
