You roamed the halls of Hogwarts, it was a weekend so you were in no rush to get anywhere. You were on your way to the Great Hall, as you passed Myrtle's bathroom you heard a faint sobbing.
You peered around the doorway to see a body hunched over the sink, his bleach blonde hair ruffled and going in all directions and his shirt sleeves rolled up.
'Draco?' you asked quietly as you walked towards him, each step echoing across the room
His head snapped to look at you and he quickly covered his wrist, his eyes were filled with sadness and despair as yours traveled to a small blade stained with blood that lay on the stone basin.
'What do you want' he snapped
'Draco let me see your wrist' you choked 'please'
he slowly extended his arm to reveal several cuts and scars scattered across it. you lunged forward and pulled him into a hug, he tensed up for a second before completely breaking down. he began sobbing into your shoulder as you wrapped your arms around his neck.
'please don't tell anyone' he sobbed
you didn't reply, it was all hitting you so fast, the boy you had loved for so long, the boy that never noticed you was now crying in your arms.
'why?' you blurted out
'its father, and the dark lord, I do nothing but disappoint them' he replied
'Draco I'm sure that's not true, your, your father loves you' you said quietly.
'No, he doesn't' he sighed
You lifted your hand to caress his cheek, making him look towards you.
'i love you' you said smiling weakly as you reached to his wrist and stroked his scars with your thumb gently. he began to lean down, you leaned forward and your lips collided, moving in sync with each other.
you broke apart, wiping a tear from his cheek and smiling.
'lets go back to the common room' you suggested as he rolled his sleeves down.
'yeah'
