CHRISTIAN RYAN'S NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY 2007
"Why did you do it, Lilly?" Taylor asked her in the softest voice possible, even though his insides were exploding. Lilly was walking away from Taylor in possibly the longest yet narrowest hallway in the world. With a red cup in her hand still filled with beer. She didn't drink before she did it, which would've meant she couldn't use "being drunk" as an excuse. But this time, Lilly was done with excuses.
"Isn't it obvious?" Lilly snapped, "I don't love you."
"But you love him?"
Suddenly, all the power and confidence Lilly had was gone. Why did she kiss Darren and not Taylor? She didn't love Taylor, but Taylor loved her. Darren, on the other hand, would've just kissed any girl in that party. Lilly fell silent and slowly sat on the floor. Taylor sat beside her. He gently put his arm around her and made sure she felt alright as tears began dropping from her bright blue eyes. He didn't care about the fact that Lilly had just broken his heart or the fact that the past four months were all a lie. All he cared about was making sure someone was there to hold Lilly as hear tears fell slowly down her cheeks. She was all that mattered to him, even after all she did.
