2 best friends torn apart

Friendship

Michelle asked my friend for my number and then we started texting alot and getting to know each other. We were writing exams although at that time she was in grade 7 and I was in grade 8.

So every day when we are finished with our test I would walk to her school it's not so far it's in the same area it's like 9 meters away. We would meet at the tree in front of the gate and talk till our parents arrive to pick us up. We kept on meeting there until exams where finished.

We always made plans to be with each other to talk and be crazy together. We always went swimming in the "kanaal" and we love to go walk around and just talk we can talk for hours and hours. We always have something to talk about sad, happy, funny, gross... you know how it is? Just to be yourself around someone and not to be afraid of what they think because they are just like that.

We became closer and we told our secrets to each other but not all of them not yet.

So it's vacation and we made plans to get together. Her mother came to pick me up and we went to her house. We went to a piece of there land they call it " the bush " but in afrikaans it sounds much better "ons gan bos toe" we went to the bush and walked around and played around it was so fun  her boyfriend screamed like a girl when a bug sat on him it was very funny. We then went to the dam we crawled underneath a bridge and when I looked up there was a lot of small spiders thats when one of them bit me in the neck area haha we then stood on the dam's side we talked a little but her mum showed up and we had to go it was a fun adventure. We had alot of fun.

We made more plans I was in total 6 times at her house. I visited her and we went for a walk it was the best day ever we walked in the kanaal and we talked about school and her other friends.We took off our shoes and walked in the water we got stuck in the mud and we laughed at each other sometimes we almost fell in completely hahaha we then went back and we couldn't find our shoes haha we couldn't remember how the bush looked like where we left our shoes but we found it when we walked back from the other direction again.

We went to hr house and drank some juice. Her grandad was busy with the garden he was busy with garden poison for slugs. He showed me the slugs and then we went to her sheep she fed them and I asked can I hold one and she smiled and said yes. She picked one up and gave him to me. It was so cute haha although after that I smelled like a sheep haha.

We then helped her grandad in the garden and then when she went to her grandma's she stepped on a thorn on the grass in front of the gate I can still remember that.
