I knew he'd be a lot to handle when I first met him. He would be happy, and excited at one moment, then switch to being angry and crying at the other. " He's all for you" Mrs. said the first time I entered the home. I wasn't sure who she was talking to, the wriggling animal on the floor, or me, the puppy she had in her arms. Both of us were so young when we met, yet my mind felt older. He had big brown eyes and was bare of any fur when I first met him. He smelled of lotion and carrots. I instantly liked him. He would crawl on his stomach and we would race across the floor, causing the Mr and Mrs. to laugh and laugh. Every morning I was treated to a bowl of food, and every night, a cozy bed. I wanted every morning to stay the same. I wanted every evening to be filled with the same laughter and excitement as he and I learned new tricks together. I loved this new family. But my favorite part was the boy, my boy, my little Jessie.
