My Script for my Film Studies

Basically I'm 16 years old in college... if you're from America, college is not university. In the UK we finish high school when we are 16 then go college for two years if we want and then go uni if we want... just explaining, last time people kept asking how I am in university. So yeah, I got this idea from my story, I love thrillers so I directed a short film. I am currently making this I have taken all the shots with my actors (friends) and now I just need to put it together with voice overs and stuff. It's actually really good! I made the fake blood and everything :3

Short Film Enrichment!

Horror film.

Scene one

Voice over as we see Lucas in the bathroom opening pills which read schizophrenia he takes two and then goes into the kitchen gets a glass of water and drinks it. Then he goes to the cooker where food is.

 Lucas: “This is the story of the lines drawn between love and hate,                                                         and the crumbling seconds when your life falls in ashes around you.                                                            My name is Lucas Castel, but no one really speaks my name anymore… in some ways it’s forbidden.         This is the story of how I turned into your worst nightmare.”      

 We see Lucas bringing two plates in to the dining room, still happily humming. He opens the wine and pours it into the two glasses. The doorbell rings.

Lucas: Lucy! You’re here; I have a surprise for you.

Lucy: Surprise? Lucas…

She stops mid-sentence looking into the candle lit dining room amazed.

Lucy: Lucas, this is beautiful. You didn’t have to go to all this trouble.

Lucas: Everything is worth the trouble for you, now come on the food is going to get cold.

Lucy: Okay, next time diners on me though right?

Lucas: Sure, if that makes you enjoy tonight then you can do whatever you want.

They sit at the table facing each other smiling. Sipping wine and eating food, scene blurs past meal. They are now sat at table with empty wine bottle and empty plates. Camera goes round to Lucas and you can see that under the table he has a jewellery box (engagement ring). Suddenly Lucy’s phone rings.

Lucy: (speaks in phone) Hello?

Lucy: (speaks in phone) what now? I said I would be late-  …. Alright, I will be right there.

Lucas: Who was that?

Lucy groans putting phone away.

Lucy: Work, they said it’s urgent. Sorry Lucas, I need to go.

Lucas: Couldn’t it wait for a little bit longer?

Lucy: As much as I wish life was that easy, no. I need to go, but Lucas tonight was the best night I have had in a long time. Thank you.

Lucas slips ring back in pocket disappointed. He stands up and pulls Lucy into a hug, Camera shows Lucas loving expression and Lucy rolling her eyes slightly.
