Wills POV:
The inside is huge already, there's a huge dining room that obviously fit a bunch of people, and then there's a door with a really weird red stain. But straight there are huge stairs. Charlie passes both of the rooms but I kick open the stained door with my foot.
"Oh my God." I drop the bags I'm holding and cover my mouth. There are arms, legs, hands, bashed in skulls all over. The fridge door is open revealing neatly stacked bones.
"Will come on," Charlie is waiting for me on the stairs.
I pick up my bags and try to focus on not throwing up. We walk up the first flight of stairs and on the second floor there are a bunch of rooms that look the same from the outside. Charlie keeps walking so I follow him up to the third story.
It's a huge attic with a bed, pool table, mini fridge and a small sofa. Charlie puts his bags on the pool table and so do I.
"For now you'll be sleeping on the couch, unless you want a cot or something. There's about nineteen on the second floor."
"The couch will be fine," I take out the food and start putting it in the mini fridge.
"Come on I want you to meet Rebekka."
Charlie goes down the stairs so I follow him, thoroughly confused again.
I follow Charlie outside and around to the side of the house where he opens weird cellar doors.
I walk down some creaky stairs into a dark cellar, I hear some moaning, and Charlie turns on a light to reveal a girl chained and gaged to the wall. Her eyes open extremely large when she sees Charlie, and she starts to scream, trying to shuffle away.
"I would've came and got you sooner Will but I met Rebekka on the way over and just had to bring her home," Charlie looks at me smiling.
"Won't anyone notice she's missing or something?" My stomach drops as I look at the cuts on her legs. Obviously new.
"Look at her clothes Will, she's some stripper. No one is going to be looking for her. Believe me."
At that the girl, Rebekka, starts to cry. I want to help her. I want to clean her cuts, give her water, take her home, something. I take a step towards her and Charlie's arm stops me.
"You can't show any of them sympathy because they'll think you're weak and try to use you to get out of here. I can't let that happen. I need to know you've got me, like I used to have you back in the orphanage."
I turn to look at Charlie trying to hold in tears, "of course. I've got you. I'll help you."
"Good," Charlie pulls out a knife and holds it out to me. "I want you to cut her arms."
"Wait, what? You said I didn't have to do any of that." I start to shake a little bit.
"I need to know for sure you're on my side. You heard me take the knife and cut her arms."
I take the knife and try to steady my arms. The girl starts screaming again, which is really loud surprisingly because of gag. She tries to scoot away from me but the chains stop her. Her arms are hanging to the wall like Jesus' were when he was on the cross. I can't help but notice how beautiful the girl is. Even with her makeup running everywhere.
I shake as I place the knife on her arm. I slowly drag it along until I'm almost too her wrist. I don't want her to die from loss of blood. When I'm done with her left arm I move to her right. This time I try to do it faster but I make sure it isn't deep. Pretty soon she passes out from pain, loss of blood, or fear, I honestly don't know.
"Good job. I'm gonna go to the bar and see if I can score a couple more girls. In a couple hours see if she's awake and needs water or something. I'll be back."
With that Charlie walks up the stairs and leaves me alone with a girl dripping from blood.
I start frantically pacing, do I let her out of the chains? No, I don't have a key. Do I give her bandages? I don't even know if there are any. I'll just get her some water or something.
I start to walk up the stairs when I hear some moaning behind me. I frantically turn around and run down the stairs to see Rebekka starting to wake up.
"Rebekka! I'm so sorry! Charlie told me I had too." I don't want the first girl I've met to hate me, but I'm sure it's too late for that.
I kneel on the floor but sit inches away from her. I don't want to touch her, but at the same time I have a burning desire inside of me telling me I need to touch her.
"Rebekka?" I say softly as I gently touch her face.
"Get off of me," suddenly her big blue eyes open and she pushes her back into the wall as far as the shackles will allow.
"I, I said I was sorry," I wish I could take the words back as soon as they leave my mouth.
"Sorry doesn't mean shit, you sliced my arms because some psycho path told you too,"
"Don't you dare talk about Charlie like that," I pull back my hand and slap her. My hand print is on the side of her left cheek. Her head whips back and hits the wall. "Charlie doesn't hurt people, he helps them." I angrily turn and walk back up the stairs, leaving the crying girl behind me.
Girls are idiots I think as I slam the cellar doors shut. I walk up to the house as I feel tears falling from my face. I don't know why I slapped her, I didn't think I would be capable of ever doing that to anyone, especially a girl. I'm not really the type of guy to just do that.
I feel like I should check on her again, but I have to be strong for Charlie.
