After the disassembly of the robot, and the junk tank, the attacker decided to bury Carl and Daisy nearby. After digging the holes, putting the bodies in there, and filling the holes again, their killer put metal gravestones to mark the graves, and on the stones he wrote "Here are buried Timothy Hirder and Jones Murkyhead." As the killer finishes their graves and stands up he says "I really needed you to not take my tank, man, but you did it anyway. And now you're dead, so very, very, very dead." Turning around to face a silhouette the killer is surprised to see that the silhouette is a shifter, a shifter who immediately asks "Are you the cave man of the belt?" Taking a moment to think he responds with "Last I checked, yeah." As he walked to the tank the shifter asked "What's your real name?" Before he can answer he is interrupted by a massive laser that would have hit them both if he had not quickly built a wall from his tank, he didn't take it apart he just moved it, like, really fast. "Y-you saved me" said the shifter, "Not directly, by saving myself I, in turn, saved you as you are behind me. The name's Birch by the way." While tossing bombs from behind the tank Birch noticed something behind the cannon that shot the laser, somebody running towards the cannon... "What! Who in fuck is that!" As soon as Birch shouted that the runner disappeared into the cannon, then there was a tick, a gong, a tink, and then the barrel of the cannon fell off, then some mechanical tentacles came out and pulled the barrel back to its original position, and it didn't fall off again. "All me bombs are doing nothing to it, almost like it's been made to resist blunt force..... I need to get in there and take out whoever's controlling that thing." Said Birch, as he turned to the shifter behind him, "You either stay here, behind the tank, or get out of here before you die." After saying that Birch turned and ran towards the cannon. Dodging bullets and lasers Birch made it inside, with only one limb gone: half his left arm.
Not noticing the missing half of his arm Birch continued further inside the cannon, dismantling everything he came across along the way, until finally he arrived at the control room, where there were no controls, just a platform where a man stood, looking at him with an angry yet mildly horrified expression "You just took apart the whole tank, in such little time, with half an arm missing...... HOW?!" Shouted the man towards the two that infiltrated his tank, "Well it's quite easy when you can move faster than most can perceive. But when did I lose an arm?" Responded Birch, "You mean you've been dismantling this huge tank with one arm, when you didn't even know you were missing an arm?" said the mysterious fast man.
"Yeah, is that a strange thing?" The two took a moment to figure out how he could not be in complete agony, after which Birch said "I don't feel any pain as a telepath once messed with my mind, he flipped me sense of pain off accidentally, and then I beat his face in with his own leg." In response to this they decided that it's probably a good idea to introduce themselves to each other, and so they did, their real names. Birch started " Me name's Birkir Álfstré, and I discovered the Spacial Caves, among other things I've done." The mysterious fast man went second " My name's Arnþór Sabbia Nato, and among the things I've done is defeating the Bludsunz gang, strong, but not very literate." While Birkir made himself a new arm the tank-master did his introduction "I am Garðar Gwaed, and I am a techno-controller, technokinesis is what it's called, and I am the owner of the massive fortress of techno-tality, also somehow immune to telepathy."
Well, now that they've met we can get on to somewhere away from the prologue.
