In two weeks it will finally be my year to shine. And hopefully I get the class project to attend the talent show this time. I always knew something special is going to happen happen to my life. But I never really understood what it meant. I'll have to make a mental note on why this feeling has been getting stronger every year, month, day, hour, minute, second. I hop out of bed seeing that its six o'clock. I begin to get the shower water ready to its perfect temperature then hop in after I strip off my clothing. But before I hop in I plug my phone into my iHome and Counting stars begin to play. "yes I love this song!" I scream as I hop in the shower and sing along to music .
lately I've been I've been losing sleep
dreaming about the thing that we could be
and baby I've been I've been prayin hard
I said more countin dollars we'll stars
yeah we'll stars
When I'm finally done with my shower I go to my walk-in closet and pick out a pair of khaki skinny jeans, a pink v-neck, a white cardigan and black converse. I began to throw my cloths on then I hear a knock on the door Mom.
" Melody honey are you ready ?" my mom ask as she opens the door.
" yeah mom in my closet !" I yell at her. " OK there's breakfeast down stairs if your hungry." she replied and I heard my room door close. After about ten minutes of putting on make-up and curling my hair, my best friend Jessi called me letting me know she's on her way to pick me up. So I quickly finished up anything that needed to be done. As soon as I find my school-bag I leave my room.
"hey mom sorry I can't eat Jessi is gonna be here any minute now I don't wanna leave her waiting I'm so sorry mom I love you !" I yelled running down stairs. " Melody why do you do this every damn day !?" my mom half yelled at me.
" I know and I'm so so sorry for that but I will tomorrow I promise " I stopped in the kitchen and told her sincerely then I heard a car honk outside. I turned and look out the window and I saw that it was Jessi's Porsche
"look I'm really sorry mom but I have to get to school " I said then enveloped her a bear hug then ran outside.
"hey jess "
"hey D you ready ?"
" yeah let's go!"
About twenty minutes later after the usual gossip and singing which is sort of a habit of mine. Jess notices something, or should I say someone. We walk up to the unusual boy and of course Jess being Jessi would allow herself to be nosy.
" hi I'm Jessi are you gay ?" she asked and the kid looked slightly embarrassed and shy. But I must admit he was cute. Big hazel-green eyes, clear face, brownish-blond hair that fell perfectly over his eyes when he looked down, and the beautiful smile I've ever seen. Oh my did I just blush ?
" no I'm new though " he said and looked me in the eye then look away and blushed a little. I had that affect on people, or guys.
"oh well what's your name? I'm Melody and this is Jessi " I said and pointed at jess who looked slightly embarrassed by his response.
" I'm James Blakehouse, can one of you show me where study hall is ?"
" um yeah what are your classes ?" I asked
"Um I have all AP classes starting with study hall" James responded and handed me his schedule.
" oh we have all the same classes I guess I can show you around and if you want you can hang out with me and Jess at lunch we usually go out to my house you wanna come?"
" yeah thanks"
"no problem, see you in math Jess bye !" I yelled after Jess.
I hope these aren't fillings that I'm starting to feel. But in case they are I don't know what I'm going to do.
