Chapter 8: I Love You Blake

Kid looks away from Jake, "JUST GET OUT!" Jake yelled at Kid. Kid nodded and blinked at me as if saying, "See you later." I blinked back at him and watched him leave. Once he left I walked inside my house and looked at Jake. "Listen Jake," I started. "No." He replied. "It's not fair!" He yelled and ran up to the guest room. I chased after him. "Why are you so mad?!?!" I ask. "Because!" He yells back. After a couple minutes of silence we look at eachother. "Because.." Jake says. "I..Blake, I'm in love with you." He says blue eyes looking into my violet-blue ones. My eyes widened in shock. No no no no no no. Are you serious? "U-um...Jake...I.." I start. "I know." He says. "But it's not fair!" "I loved you before him! I would die for you!" "I can't stop loving you Blake!" He pulls me closer to him and kisses me. Now my eyes are saucers again. I pull away after a minute. "Jake..." I say. He looks at me with sad eyes. "I...." I can't even look at him right now. I run to my room and just cry for a while. That's why he wanted me to stay away from Kid. I can't break up with kid though. I can't. I've never thought of Jake that way...NO BLAKE NO. I shake my head as in to get rid of that thought. Kid likes me, and I like kid. I just need to talk to Jake. Oh great, the thought is back. Now that I think about it, he is cute, an I have always adored his blue eye- BLAKE. NO. YOU JUST GOT THE BOY OF YOUR DREAMS TO DATE YOU. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET ANY FEELINGS FOR JAKE. I slam my head into a pillow. Are you freaking kidding me. I can't have all this happening. Ivy, Jake, Liz. How can this possibly get worse?!? RIIINNNGGGGG RIIIIIINNNNGGG my phone chimes. I grab my phone and look at it for a second. It was an unknown number. I answered anyway. "Hello?" I ask. A man replies, "Is this Blake Rosewood? Daughter of Maria Rosewood?" "U-um, yes." I manage to say. "I'm sorry for interrupting you today, but we have bad news about your mother." The man says. I froze. "She was hit by a car while crossing the street today, it was an instant death." I almost dropped my phone. My mom is....gone? "Who did this.." I ask softly. He replied. 'Actually the car didn't have a driver inside, the police are saying it might have been haunted or something." "We will email you the address to the hospital so you can visit your mother any time tomorrow." This time I really did drop my phone. "Hello? Ms.? Hello?" The man asked. I hung up on him, and tears streamed down my face once again. This was definitely Ivy's doing. There's only one way Ivy could have done this, Liz found out about me and Kid. But how?
