Her Nightmare

"He pushed me to wall and held me by my neck.  Fresh tears kept flowing from my eyes. I was not able to shout as his grip on my throat was hurting. I just prayed to run away from him. Maybe to say I wanted to end my life. End my pain.  Within seconds my hand was on my left cheek. He pulled my hand and continued slapping me.  Blood started oozing out of my lips.  He hit me hard on my face and pushed me down to floor. He grabbed me by my hair and pulled me and threw me away like a garbage. He stood there back facing me.  And suddenly he turned, his face all red and kicked hard on my stomach.  Noooooo. Stop it. I beg you. 
No, please forgive me. Please. I will behave properly. Please let me go.  I kept shouting until I felt someone shaking me up from my shoulder. I felt safe. I turned and hugged him tight. I knew this  touch, this fragrance, this is where I belong to. That was where I was safe. Yes. This touch belonged to my Arjun.  The Business tycoon Arjun Malhotra.  He cooled me down. His words. All he said was,  I'm here for you baby girl. I won't let anything happen to you. Shuu! Baby it's OK. I'm here. Shuu!
I stopped crying once I felt safe. Arjun handed me a glass of water and waited for me to get calm. I drank the whole glass in one go and wiped my face and looked at his face.  His slight smile.  Without thinking I hugged him into a bone crushing hug. He hugged me back more tightly.  Someone well said ki it's a pleasure when you are hugged back more tightly by that person who's hug makes you feel safe.  I slowly pulled off and looked down. He raised my face by chin and asked," Nightmare? " I nodded.  He gave a half smile and made me lay back to bed and tucked me the blanket and himself laid cross, facing me. I gave him a questioning look for which he signaled me to close my eyes. I did as he said. He played with my hair and started talking in low voice....
I'm here for you. I'm sorry to let you suffer pain in your past. But I promised to myself that I will never let any harm reach you. I will make sure that you don't suffer ever again. No matter what it will cost me but I will always safe guard you. I will give my 100% to make you feel safe. It's only your smile that makes me completely happy. But trust me.. Your single drop of tear breaks me down to million parts. You are a princess. My princess. 
I blushed at the last couple of words and turned to his side,peeked on his cheeks  and buried my face to his chest. He sighed and cuddled with me. And I slept feeling safe.
