The Slender Man is an alleged paranormal figure reported to have been in existence for centuries, covering a large geographic area. Believers in the Slender Man tie his appearances in with many other legends around the world, including; Fear Dubh (or, The Dark Man) in Scotland, the Dutch Takkenmann (Branch Man), and the German legend of Der Großmann or Der Grosse Mann (the Tall Man).
I woke up with neck pains and my body throbbed. I felt weak and ill. It was 7AM and I needed to get to work. I got up from bed but it felt like I had no energy left. Should I call in sick today?
No, I can't. There's a presentation today, I must sell this house no matter what, if I don't sell the Henderson house then I won't get commission and god knows how much I needed the money.
My name is Kaydence Harper. I'm 24 and I live alone, I recently moved into a new apartment. I work as a Real Estate agent, with the economy failing I couldn't afford a car so i took the train, work isn't far from the Train Station so I walk to work when the train arrives. Work has been so stressful lately so I guess that would explain my fatigue.
I had my usual cup of coffee and headed out. I didn't have much of an appetite today, the back of my neck was wincing but I dust it off thinking I probably just slept bad. I walk to the Train Station with the feeling that someone was watching me. I felt like there was someone right over my shoulder. I brush it off and hurry to the station, selling the Henderson house was the only thing on my mind. I have two potential buyers today.
I enter the train as it started moving. It was only 9:25AM and the cable cars were already crowded. I scurry along to find a seat but no to avail, I head to the next cable car in hopes I'd find a seat. I was too tired to stand. As luck would have it there was an open seat next to an old woman. I sat down but she kept staring at me for some reason, I heard a ringing sound in my ears, then my head felt like it was about to explode. I decided to push my headphones in as we headed for a tunnel. As soon as we entered the tunnel my iPod froze and all I could hear was distant static and a faint whisper through my headphones.
"Damn iPod. I'll probably need a new one", I thought to myself.
The static got louder and the faint whisper became clearer. Eerily creepier, I pull my headphones out.
The train then halted as the power shut off. It was silent for a moment but i could hear someone whispering in my ear. My heart started racing but then the power came back on. I then notice the old woman standing in front of me. I further analyse her and realised her eyes were cloudy. Her eyes were white and she wore a lifeless expression.
"He's coming for you! He's coming for you! He's coming for you! He's coming for you!", she screams as she points her finger at me before passing out.
My heart skipped a beat as fear consumed me.
"Out of my way! I'm doctor", says a man rushing towards us and started examining her.
The woman stood on the ground lifeless while I stood there in shock.
"She has no pulse... This woman is dead", says the man as we all watch in disbelief.
"Do you know her?", asks a woman.
"No I've never seen this woman before", I say.
Our train arrived at our next destination as I quickly get out and ran to work, that was so creepy. My body hurt but I had a strong feeling I had to get out of there as soon as possible, as I left the Train Station I hear music blasting through the speakers of my iPod. I thought it was broken but I checked it and it was fine... I then arrive at the office building completely out of breath.
