Written in the year nine hundred and ninety two

I know not your name but I assure you, everything you know about yourself is untrue, false and complete and utter lie. You may think that I sound like a mad-woman but again, I assure you, I am not. Who am I? You ask. What business do I have with you?

To answer one of your questions, I was born Kassandra Richardson in nine hundred and seventy but my name by marriage is Kassandra Johnson. I am the wife of William Johnson, daughter of Richard and his wife Evelyn. I was their third child and only remaining daughter. Before the three Richardson’s were born our parents had just started a family when a plague struck their homeland. They moved to the place where I was born and raised, a mystical land where everyone is healthy, along with my two brothers: George my elder brother and James my younger brother. Along with the children of Mikael and Esther: Elijah, Finn, Rebekah, Kol, Henrik and Niklaus Mikaelson.

Niklaus.  Klaus.  My dearest friend, my little tyrant, my best ally , my worst enemy, my accomplice, my betrayer, my playmate, my rival, my love, my everything.  I cannot remember a time before I loved him. I didn’t choose to love him. But I do. And I will. Always and forever.

What on earth does this have to do with me? You must think. Again, I shall answer your question. It has everything to do with you, everything. You see, this letter so to speak is written in your hand, again you may think that I sound like a mad-woman when I tell you this but. You are me. You see, you and I are something special, a type of psychic so to speak, the first one in history I should think.

I shall prove it to you, you have had a number of dreams which have come true, but you choose to ignore them. And so you should, you would be seen as a mad-woman yourself if you told anyone this but I assure you, you are not. You are special. When you die you will live again, as the same person, the same looks but a different life in perhaps a different country even.

You are an acentinorrina as I like to say.

A very dear friends of mine happens to be a very powerful witch, has agreed to put a spell on me as she knows not a way to save my life before the sacrifice. You aredestined to die before your twenty third birthday and return again and again until he finds you. And he will find you. Perhaps you may regain the memories from your old life. Perhaps not. But he is the key to stopping the cycle.

Klaus is the key.

Sincerely,

Your past self

-Prologue-

-The Year Nine Hundred and Eighty Two-

-Third Person-

“Come on Kassandra!”the fifteen year old boy exclaimed with a twinkle of excitement in his eyes.

His unruly curls of gold as messy as ever, his piercing, startling green eyes and as bright as emeralds, were admiring the surroundings of the serene forest around him. Pulling the fiery haired girl along with him whom was three years younger than the boy.

Her hair, ripples of red down her back, was flowing in the soft gentle breeze. Her own eyes like leaves which had just started to become brown at the edges due to autumn, searched the scene desperately attempting to work out where he was taking her.
