This is fairly short, if I'm going to be honest. Sorry!

Chapter Seven

(approx. 10 ish minutes have passed.)

With the purr of the engine, the car sped down the lumpy dirt path, the scenery of the busy town had long ago blurred away from view. The two men had remained silent, both of them anxious to save their beloved partners. The Doctor wanted to put an end to the silence between them, his emotions bubbling up inside him. He moved his gaze from the window and looked to his right to see Sherlock, whose eyes were closed and hands making a steeple under his nose. Sherlock's eyes, The Doctor also noticed, were scrunched in concentration, making crinkles at the corners of his youthful eyes.

The Doctor didn't want to interrupt his thoughts, knowing he would be unwelcomed, so he retuned to his earlier actions.

"Tell me your experience with Bad Wolf, Doctor." Sherlock said with an inhale of breath and breaking the dead silence that had been accompanying them the whole duration of the ride.

The Doctor slightly shifted his body towards Sherlock. "That's quite a story, a long one too." He replied.

"Tell me. Or do you not care about this dire situation we have at the moment?" Sherlock said, his eyes still closed, remaining unmoved besides the movement of his Cupid bow lips to speak

"Well, when I was.." The Doctor began, unsure where to really start. It was quite a tale.

"When you were a different face? Ah, yes I've figured it out quick enough." Sherlock said nonchalantly, as if it was an everyday thing.

"Brilliant! But yes, when I bore a different face when I had originally met Rose. Where ever we went on our adventures the two words 'Bad Wolf' would find us. We hadn't a clue what it meant until an, um, sort of an invasion on earth in the future happened. I sent Rose away in the TARDIS as an attempt to save her." He paused to take a breath, "Rose, being her stubborn self, refused to be taken away when she thought she could help. She looked into the soul of the TARDIS - which no one is meant to do - and she returned to the space craft we were fighting on. She used the power to destroy and wipe our enemies from existence, to put it lightly. It was the form of the Bad Wolf. That's pretty much it." The Doctor explained, cutting it very short. "She led herself to that specific time and place with the words Bad Wolf. A message through time and space."

"What happened to make you change?" Sherlock asked, opening a single eye to take a quick look at The Doctor, then closing it just as quickly.

The Doctor felt brush threaten to spread across his cheeks remembering the kiss. "I had to extract the power out of her and I had to regenerate - or change myself, molecule by molecule. I'm sure you get the idea."

"So, then this is a message that she created to warn or help us with an overtaking of the planet led by Moriarty and ..Cybermen."

"Pretty much, yeah." The Doctor nodded.

"Your companion of yours, she seems..lovely."

Sherlock took interest in her, more so, in her capabilities. "Yeah, she's more than that and, well, mine." The Doctor said, rather protective of Rose. His Rose.

"Oh, please. Not really my area." Sherlock smirked at The Doctor, opening his eyes and sitting up in his leather seat.
