Why does society think that bodies have to be a perfection? Body shaming is a big thing in the industry, and everyone thinks that people have to be either model sized or built like Roman gods or goddesses. Not everyone can have a huge bust and slim waste or large biceps and abs. Not everyone is like that. All this, "Be you and accept who you are" and "Ignore the people who make fun of you" stuff doesn't exactly change the fact that I don't look like a supermodel or fit. I'm definitely not a size one or fit into extremely skinny jeans. I don't have sex appeal or seduce people for the heck of it. Guys and girls don't loathe over me and people don't want to be me. In the long run, I'm not beautiful in society's eyes. The words nice people say about my body don't work as well as they used to because I see beautiful people all around me, and I'm not one of them. Some people don't understand that taking off weight doesn't take a day, and that's a problem. Social media is the biggest issue. Platforms such as Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter take the biggest toll on body image. I'm not saying that everyone on those platforms are bad, but some promote self esteem killing feed. Not everybody has the money to go to the gym or have luxurious things. For example, the beautiful women and men on Instagram make me feel like I'm not fit in the world. Being bigger than other people around me doesn't help, and seeing better bodied people gives me self confidence issues. Truthfully, I have cried over the way I look many, many times because I'm not "perfect" like the world wants me to be. It's like an epidemic, teenagers and even adults want to be perfect. But sadly, it never works out that way.
