Bite My Heart [EXO]

~Ana's P.O.V~

It was my turn to go into the forest this time to mind a meal for Heng, Umi, and myself. I dashed into the forest and stayed in the dark shadows. A few minutes after searching, I find a deer. Not just any deer, but a full grown deer. She was big too. As I was about to approach it, I see 2 pairs of eyes. At first I thought they were the eyes of ordinary wolves, but as they came closer to the animal the eyes got bigger and then came out of the darkness, 2 Werewolves. I stayed behind the bush as the 2 attacked what was supposed to be me and my girls' dinner. After they killed the deer, they didn't eat it. I was confused at first, but then they turned into their human form.

"Come on Lulu, it isn't that heavy." One of them said wiping some blood off his mouth.

"It's not heavy, Sehun, it's just I feel like their is something else near us." Luhan said looking around near my direction. I wasn't in my Vampire form, so they could hear my heart beat. I didn't realize that until Luhan started heading for the bush I was hiding in. I closed my eyes, trying to concentrate to turn into a Vampire again, and just in time too. When he looked behind the bush to see if I was there, I stole the deer and rushed back home. As I got to my doorstep, I heard the 2 Werewolves back in the woods howl. I entered the house after the howling stopped.

"Hey Ana, what took so long?" Heng said as I placed the deer on the table.

"Werewolves." I said taking out my blades.

"Oh, that isn't a problem right?" I nodded my head in a no.

"Umi, Werewolves move in packs. The smallest pack they would move in is 6." Heng said with a tone of sadness. Umi's expression went blank.

"I barely escaped. Luckily there were only two of them hunting for food...But there could be more." I started cutting the deer and preparing it for dinner. Umi started thinking and then she asked, "What are we going to do?"

"I don't know." I say looking at her.

"Let's just stay here." Heng suggests.

"Why?" Umi and I ask.

"The Werewolves have a keen sense of smell. If they smell a house of Vampires, they won't dare to intrude. Like Werewolves, we usually are in packs. The only difference is that we have our powers. They can only transform into their Wolf form. Vampires are the only ones that can kill a Werewolf and vice versa."

I chuckle, "Good thing you were born in a Wolf family." Heng and Umi chuckle as well after my comment. After that conversation, I started putting the slices of deer meat on our plates. Good thing I found a deer, if I found a bunny or a squirrel I would have to go out again and find more. The deer can feed 3 Vampires for about a week.

After our meal, we head to sleep. Vampires need sleep too. As I sleep I wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of howling. This time, instead of 2 Wolves howling, I hear 12. I look out my window and see 12 wolves at the top of a distant hill, near an abandoned cabin at the other side of the forest. I make note in my head on the information and go back to sleep.
