Lauren's POV
So, we're ready.
There's just one thing I needed to do in order to get the plan to go ahead. It's probably the hardest part of the plan because it involves Camila. It's really simple but she's going to question it and I'm not sure she'll want to do it unless I tell her why.
I pick up my phone and ring Camila to ask her to do the last thing on our list.
"Hey Camila, are you alright?", I ask.
"I am a little bit better now thank you", she starts, "Austin has only text me once since he text last", she sighed.
"What did he say?", I question with an angered express.
"He just said that I'm pathetic and so are you. I didn't reply though", she explains.
"Don't listen to him Camz, he's full of shit. You know that", I start. "I need to ask you a favour", I nervously say.
"What is it?", she asks.
"I need you to text Austin and ask him to meet you at the beach tonight. Okay? Tell him you have something for him and add a smirky emoji", I quickly say.
There's a silence.
"Why would I do that Lauren?", she quietly asked.
"Please? I promise everything will be okay, I just need you to do it for me"
"I don't know", she replies.
"Please Camila, I need you to ask him for me. It's really important", I plead. "You'll know why afterwards, please".
"I'm not stupid, I'm just waiting for you to tell me what it is", she says. "I know what you're going to do, I don't approve. You'll be in trouble and I don't want you to do it for me. I don't know how I'd cope if I knew you were in trouble because of me... it would be my fault", she exclaims.
"Camila, just list-"
"No Lauren, you listen. What happens if it goes wrong? If it turns on you? He's strong Lauren, I know he his. I've seen him beat a boy up once, he could hurt you", she angrily says.
"I promise I'll be fine, you'll understand. I need to do this, he deserves it. He's hurt you, I'm going to hurt him Camila. Please do this for me", I beg.
"Fine Lauren. I'll do it now. I'm not happy about this.", she says hanging up the phone.
I knew she'd react this way, I can't blame her. It's a horrible thing to do but I don't care. Camila believes in the saying "violence is never the answer"; no matter how nasty the person is. However, it's a shame that I couldn't care less and I'm going to beat him up. This will take a while for Camila to realise why I did it but I'm hoping she'll understand. I'm doing it for her.
After getting off the phone, I walk back into my room where Dinah and Normani are talking about which weapon they would have used to kill him.
"I'd have definitely gone for the hammer", Dinah shouts.
"No, it has to be the knife", Normani argues.
"Girls. Shut up", I shout at them while laughing at their enthusiasm to kill him.
"Did she say she'd do it?", Normani asks.
"Yes", I say. "But, she's not happy", I continue.
"You told her?", she questions.
"She knew", I sighed waiting for the text from Camila.
We've been sat in my room for nearly an hour waiting for a text from Camila to say that Austin will meet her. We're feeling a little frustrated and agitated waiting. I think I might have a nap while I wait - a good rest will help.
