new kid.

- phil's p.o.v -

Me and Sam were sitting at our table and scrolling though Tumblr and talking about how we think the new kid will be like. "I know that his name is Dan Howell...I hope that he is the kind of chill and wicked type like us." I said as I put my phone down. "Yeah that would be cool. I wonder what omega he'll be. After all, this is the Omega Township." She said. Then a car parks in the lot and I see a boy's foot step out. He locks the car and grabs a black and white checkered back pack and puts it on his shoulder. But...he is the opposite of who me and Sam would ever hang out with. We grab our bags and start to walk into the school.

- timeskip to lunch -

It was finally the time where we can just chill out and not deal with all the fucking nerds bothering us. We got out our phones and went on Tumblr. "Phil. Look who I just found in my followers." Sam said as she slid her phone across the table to me. It was him. The new kid. Dan. It was a picture of him and the caption said, 'time to go to a whole new school. :/ wish me luck guys! c: ilyyy!' My eyes widened as I clicked on his username and saw that he had 1.2k followers. "Sam! Holy shit! This kids Tumblr famous! I wonder if when he walks into this cafeteria, if anyone will notice who he is." I said as I slid her phone back to her. "I know. Also to be honest...I am gonna follow him back because...he is quite cute." I just turn away and look to see Dan walking in. "Come on let's see if anyone notices him here." Sam says as she looks too. Then a girl screamed and a million other girls were screaming "Dan!", "Oh my god it's him!", "That's the real danisnotonfire!" and shit like that. Then he started walking over to us and sat down. "Is it okay if I sit here..?" he asks. Right as I was about to say no Sam nods her head fast. "So..uh..hi! I'm Dan. Also known as 'danisnotonfire' on Tumblr." he explains. "Well, hi! I'm Sam and this boy right here is Phil. If you'd like you can stay with us. There are a lot of mean people here. So we can kinda protect you and be best friends!" She said as she put her arm around his shoulder and he giggled. "So. I'm just gonna go because...I honestly don't wanna sit with this dumb nerd." I say as I get up and start to walk out with my bag and phone.

- dan's p.o.v -

Then Phil just got up and started to walk out. I put my head down and sigh. "Hey, don't worry about him. He is just not into your style and your personality right now. But, if you just try to maybe get to know him..he is honestly a very cool and sweet guy." Sam explained as she lifted my head up. "S-Sam...can I tell you something..?" I ask in a low tone and look over to her. "Of course anything hun." I'm hoping that she accepts the LGBTQ+...let's just hope. "I have a crush on...Phil.." I said as a bright red crimson started to spread across my cheeks. "OH MY GOD. I SHIP IT." She shrieked as she hugged me. Then the bell rang and I still had 3 more classes to go.

"Okay, so who here knows the answer to question 23?" The teacher asked and I started to read over the question again. "It's -4.98 mam." I say and she smiles. "That's correct Daniel." Mrs.Lennard said delighted. "Okay class, I'm going to go down to the teachers lounge so you can do whatever." She said as she left the room with her MacBook and her coffee. Then I look over to see Sam talking to Phil and then looking over at me. I freeze and look away out of the window. I feel a vibrate on my phone and I see a chat request on Kik and it seemed to be Phil. I tap 'accept' and we started to talk.

amazingphil: so, you have a crush on me.

I look over to see Phil getting up and looking at me so I get up and start to follow him. Once I shut the door behind me he immediately pulled me into a hug. "Hey..what's this for? Don't you hate me now?" I asked as I hugged back with my head on his shoulder. "No. Because i feel the same way."
