"Hey Jordan, heads up!" yelled Tyson - one of the guys on Jordan’s football team - Jordan didn’t need the heads up though, he saw it coming. The captain should be alert at all times, right? Jordan caught it and threw it back.

"Incoming dude!" Jordan smiled and turned around to face Rose knowing it would be her, she’s the only girl who will come on the oval and the only person who he can tell anything to and she won’t judge him or tell anyone anything. She could come on the field without any trouble from the guys, they all knew how important she was to him and if she got any trouble she knew how to stand up for herself. Plus, Jordan would be there in a second to protect her. She could catch a football, she knew how to play.

Rose hugged Jordan, probably for a bit too long then just ‘a friend hug’. When Rose stepped back she looked at him, his golden brownish/blonde hair and his clear gorgeous deep blue eyes. Jordan was looking at her too, taking in her deep green eyes that he never got sick of. He was admiring her, her long brown wavy hair the way it sparkled in the sun. It made Jordan smile.

"Hey, how are you?" Jordan said sweetly, he had a concerned look on his face. Because she looked sad, and like she was holding something back. "I feel better now, Maths was horrible and Jason wouldn’t leave me alone. He hit me once, too." Rose said, almost like she was going to bawl her eyes out. Jordan’s face went hard, she was going out with a rude, selfish and an annoying ungrateful guy. He hate that she was going out with him, but she hated saying no, it was a weakness of hers.

"Oh, Rosie." Jordan pulled her in to a hug.

"Are you okay? Want me and the guys to go Deal with him?" Jordan said sweetly, a hint of annoyance in his voice. He was so sick of Jason. Rose was scared to break up with him; she always said it could make things worse. He would’ve done it himself if he didn’t think Rose would get hurt from it. Rose was crying now, into Jordan’s chest.

Jordan saw Jason coming.

"Rosie, there might be trouble in a minute, just stay with me. Please don’t go anywhere else, just listen to me and Tyson." Jordan said, urgency laced his voice.

"Hey Tyson!" Jordan yelled. Tyson looked up and Jordan nodded towards Jason, as soon as Tyson saw Jason he came over, quickly, he was by Jordan in a couple of seconds.

"Okay, Ty, if I get in trouble take Rose, please. Look after her, I don’t want her to get hurt anymore." Jordan said annoyed, worried and concerned for Rose. Rose looked up and saw Jason coming towards them, she started to cry harder and stood behind Jordan and him.

"Give her to me!" Jason yelled angrily, she was with Jordan and not him. She was meant to wait behind for him but instead she ran for Jordan.

"She's mine! She’s not going out with you, she’s going out with me!" Jason said angrily.

"Not anymore she’s not Jason, you hurt her all the time she’s done with you. If you touch her again you’re not gonna be alive to see her again. You will leave now, and leave her alone before I call the Police for abuse." Jordan said trying to keep his cool trying not to lose his temper for Roses sake.

"She's mine, not yours, Jordan." He lifted a finger and pointed at Jordan.

"You don’t make her decisions, she does." Jason yelled some more and took a step towards both Jordan and Rose.

"Tyson..." Jordan said very calmly as he pushed Rose, very gently, towards Tyson. "Take her to the lockers or my car." He threw Tyson the keys to his jeep.
