Oh my god, it hurt. How did this poor dude handle this. Pain wracked my body in shudders, absorbing his illness. It would go away eventually, because no matter what it was, even things like blindness, or a sawed-off arm, I always healed. But the memories lingered, faint scars on my mind, and I know eventually I'll go insane without taking it in from someone else, and I won't be able to cure myself. But I shake it off. I watch as the teen in front of me struggles up, me taking the last of whatever the heck it was that was causing him this pain, and he starts to speak. "T-" But I hear nothing as I pass out.

I may need to explain. My name is Jaysen Willows, and I am a healer. No, not a doctor or nurse or those pathetic excuses for people that try to look like they know what they are doing with their shiny metal death instruments. A real healer. But there is one problem with my healing. Whenever I heal someone with what people call my 'magic', I will get whatever they had. This includes mental states. It always feels...right to help everyone in this way, but it gets depressing. I'm either always in pain, or attempting not to kill myself. I refrain from doing so, however. After all, what does the well being of one person matter when they can help so many more? Who the heck cares what I think or feel? I'm valuable enough in the sense that people keep me around, but not feel that they need to do much else. So I take it all. I'd take on all the world's problems if I could. And there is one reason.

That is because, even though no one else is, I'm the good person who cares enough to ruin himself to make sure other people don't.
