Chapter 4 - Sparking hearts

I only get a few hours of sleep each night, it pains me. I just lay in my bed and cry. I am suppose to be going to Jai's next live show tomorrow night, I'm not sure if I'm up to it but I need him back, he said he wants to find me. He will.

I asked Trisha, my best friend, if she would come with me and she literally squealed for a whole 10 minutes.

*Day of the live show*

"Do you think you should start getting ready?" My mum stands at my door.

"Yeah, I guess." I look at her.

"Go have a nice cold shower to wake you up." She smiles then leaves. I get up, grab and towel and clothes and head to the bathroom. I turn the taps on then get in. It did wake me up. I stare at the razor that lay perfectly innocent on the shelf. I felt like it would cure me, as if the blood I bleed out would take the pain with it, I knew it wouldn't. I decide to get out before I try anything too stupid.

I put on a simple, cute, short red dress and do my hair up.

"Mum I'm ready!" I call.

"Ok, let's go." She says. We leave some time incase we get lost, to pick up Trisha and just also for the sake of being early. We get to Trisha's and I run up to the door to get her. She answers and gives me a quick hug and we get going again.

Once we arrive at the venue, we enter through the door and take our place at the front of the mosh pit. I hope Jai see's me. I need him to see me.

The shows started, a few went by before it was Jai's turn, he walks onto stage and talks to the judges, before he starts his song. We walked over to the other side of the mosh pits while singing to do that thing where you touch all the audiences hands. Then he made his way over here.

He ran his hand along the first few people, then he reached me, I swear I felt a spark, he then looked into my eyes.
