prologue

*buzz buzz* *buzz buzz*

I picked my phone up quickly answering the phone.

"Director Fury."

"Agent Perez. I have a very urgent assignment for you. Get to my office immediately."

"Yes sir. Do I have time to ge-"

"Immediately."

The line went dead. I rushed to headquarters in nothing but black spandex shorts and a hoodie.

Walking in I notice a man with long hair. His eyes quickly dart to mine. He looks me up and down

"Agent I see that you didn't take time to dress up." Fury sat down in front of me. Quickly addressing me to sit down

"You said immediately director fury, I was just following your orders." Fury just shook his head.

"I have an assignment for you." Fury then looked at the man with the long hair beside both of us.

"I'm going to need for you to show James here everything that he missed. 1944 to now."

"That's a lot director I don't think I can-"

"If I didn't think you could handle it, I wouldn't have given you the case."

I looked at director fury. How would this work? Where is he staying? Would I be able to do this?

"He will be staying with you for now until you believe that he knows everything he needs to know. All bills and expenses will be paid by shield."

"Sir I don't thin-"

"Figure it out." Fury got up and walked out of the room. I looked at James and smiled a little bit.

"Well, um, let's go home."
