SIX
The next morning I was roused from an amazing dream of Cal and I on the beach, a place I had yet to ever go to, when the baby began to scream. I sat up and gave it some play time and a bottle along with a burp and quick change before I started getting ready for school. I sang My heart by Sleeping With Sirens softly and that had turned into Stay by Mayday Parade, and a couple softer songs by Bring me the Horizon (Fuck, and Dont Go ft Lights are like the only soft songs I have ever encountered FYI).
I tugged on some light tattered shorts that had some frayed material hanging down to my thighs and I pulled on a black tanktop that was fairly low cut and pulled on a black and yellow plaid button down collared shirt over it. I rolled the sleeves up to my elbows and buttoned them in place and stepped into some black rounded toe heels that sounded like a bad idea but made the outfit completed. I did black smokey eyes and decided to have some fun and make the edges look like the end of feathers and accenteed them with yellow and just a little tiny bit of glitter. Long eyelashes and a little light pink blush and gloss before I pulled my hair back into a french braid.
I made coffee after brushing my teeth and I sprayed on a little perfume, Believe by Britany Spears, it had a spicy scent almost and was the only spray I bothered with. I waited for Beth in the car and gave the horn a couple pats before she made her way to the car and slid into the front seat.
"Sorry," she said. "Couldn't find my Vans."
"S'all right." I said pulling out the drive way and speeding off to school.
I twisted the dial on my locker and opened to find a jersey and two tickets.
I took the jersey and read over the tickets and the note that had been left with them.
Bring Cloe or someone with you, I have everything settled with the baby so dont worry about it. Wear this at the game and make sure to scream loud. Cal.
I chuckled. And held up the jersey.
88, and OLSON were printed on the back in large print. The red and blue clad jersey smelled like him and was about his size.
"Token always wears the spare jersey for luck." A voice said behind me making me jump and my heart race. His large hands rested on my shoulders. "Sorry," he chuckled.
I let out a hard breath and gave a small nod. I handed him the baby so I could grab my books and binder. "I'm actually excited for the game tonight." I smiled and used my free hand to lace my fingers through his."
"I'm happy you're coming." He smiled. "Even washed the jersey."
"On your own?"
He nodded looking proud.
I chuckled and squeezed his hand. "Now you can wash my clothes huh?"
"In exchange for more back rubs and baths. Hell yes." He chuckled. "I feel amazing, I can't thank you enough." He breathed out a happy sigh and pulled me closer to him and kissed the top of my head.
I smiled. "You don't need to thank me."
"I do really. Thats why on Sunday me and you are going to have the weekend all to ourselves."
"Oh really? What do you have planned?"
"Its a surprised." He whispered against my cheek before kissing it and stopping at my class. "See you later."
I nodded and strode to my seat and got ready for math.
I sold tickets and took votes at lunch and talked to Cal and Cloe. I gave her the ticket to the game and she agreed to come with me. Classes where like everyday and once school was out Cloe met me and Beth at the house, all of us excited for the three day weekend and the game (it was the end of our fist six weeks in school, the first grading period). I changed into the jersey and me and Cloe did out hair and makeup for the school. I went with just regular smokey eyes and did the sweat guard lines in the school colors... no matter how ugly.
