I chuckled. “You can’t be serious, right? I thought you loved the Undead.” I smiled and reached out, touching a beautiful silky strand of loose hairthat fell just beneath Ivy’s shoulders. Her blood’s aroma so intoxicating, it only took a deep breath to know what I already suspected was true.
Her eyes widened, her pupils dialating, and almost frozen in fear. “Y-your… no you can’t. It-it’s impossible.”
“Oh Ivy, don’t you ever get tired of this same old conversation?”
