Way to keep up!

Chapter 4

"Bitch!" he shouted as I slapped him. Hard.

"Ooh. Tut tut. Did I make the big bad alpha mad?" I asked.

"Should've known you were a worthless slut." he shouted venom in his tone and spitting out blood.

'Hell no he didn't' Jordan said through our mind-link.

'That a boy. Calm down J.' I replied

'No. I feel bad for him 'cause I know that you'll kick his ass now.' he said.

'Oh.' I drew out. 'Okay. Then I'll do just that. I mean, I was going to let him off easy but now... Never mind.' I finished as I crouched down with one leg sticking out so when he turned his back I spun on the ball of my foot and tripped him on his ass.

"Ya know." I paused to tell Finnik the truth. "I was going to let you off the hook, let you live. But, now that choice is out of the picture."

"Fuck you." he muttered.

"Hmm? What was that Finnik?" I said in an innocent tone.

"Go fuck yourself." he coughed as he bloodied the floor from the cut I gave him with my dagger.

"You know... I would but now I just don't have the time of day." I said, note the sarcasm.

I can do this. I can do this. I can't do this!! I thought in my head.

'Yes you can.' Jordan said. He was, after all, the only one here with me.

'Okay.' I said. 'I'll try'. I let my instincts take over. I felt my bones crack into place, that familiar feeling that I love, it's so natural and instinctual. It's simple really.

The only hard part is when you have to change back to a human because you have no clothes on. Anywho when I finally landed on my paws everything happened in slowmotion. My wolf took over and all hell broke loose.

Sakura, Mason, Tasha, Brianna, and Kevan all came through one of the walls across from me and ran over to me and Jordan.

'I can't do this.' I said through the mind-link.

'Do you want me to?' Sakura said in a worried tone. You see, she is like the mother of the group. She watches over all of us and can be really bad ass.

'I can't. I... Sure go ahead if you want to.' I stuttered. I changed back to my human self and instantly a scarlett red blush krept to my face. I ran quickly over to a stack of hay and hid behind it. I heard someone walk over the my hiding spot and I cowered into the dark.

"It's me, Jordan." he said "Do you want to wear my shirt so you're not naked?"

"Yes please." I said as I caught it and slipped it on. "Thank you." I finished.

"No problem. Let's go." he said thoughtfully.

"Oh. Okay come on." I replied as I got up and walked over to my family of friends, my pack.

As we walked over I started blushing like crazy because my brother saw me naked along with the rest of my tiny pack.

I cowered under Jordan's arm and felt his body shaking with silent laughter.

As I probably said before we are really close. But I have no idea if he is my mate yet and I will have no idea until I turn eighteen. And that means, yes, Tasha is older than me. But only by seven months... Oh whatever. We just need to hurry this up so that I can go home and stay in my bed for the rest of my life.

"...Alaina. Alaina!!" I heard someone say in my ear. "Wuh??" I said confused and dazed.

"Oh, I thought that we lost you for a minute there." Mason said a little amused by my actions. "Oh I must've totally zoned out Mas, sorry." I said, my voice wavering in the slightest.

"Well?" Sakura said, more like asked. "Lemme' kick some ass!" she hollered.
