Chapter 1: The Meeting
In his bedroom, Dan was completing the new game had just got: Call Of Duty Ghosts. He had been at it for hours, 36 to be exact, trying to complete the final mission and then achieving the pride of beating another game. Whilst Dan was busy playing his new game, his phone started to vibrate. He could not hear it over the sound of intense gunshot and explosions.
It had been two hours since his phone had rang. Fustrated, Dan turned off the PS3 and returned to his living room. Dan checked his phone for the time and noticed that he had a missed call from an unknown number. Even though he was confused, Dan rang the unknown number just to check who had been trying to call him. A quiet voice popped from the other end,"Hello?".
"Hi, this is the number you tried to call about two hours ago" Dan replied.
"Is this Dan?"
"Yes?"
"Hi Dan. This is Martyn also known as InTheLittleWood on Youtube. We did a couple of videos together". Martyn explained.
"Oh! I remember you. How have you been?" Dan said loudly, almost shouting.
"I've been good. What about you?"
"Not bad. My computer has been playing up a bit lately but I'm alright I guess."
"You sound a bit down in the dumps" Martyn said.
"Yeah. The thing is that ever since I moved out of my dad's place I've been kind of lonely."
"Oh. Hey! I've got an idea why don't I come over and we can 'hang out' sometime. You in?" Martyn said sounded excitedly.
"Yeah! That sound great. You free Sunday afternoon?" Dan replied with a happy jolt.
"It's settled. See you soon. Bye"
"Bye!"
Dan put down the phone and shouted at the top of his nerdy little lungs, "WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
