Chapter 24 Come Back to Me

When I get back to the beachhouse all I want to do is hold Cam and forget about all the shit that has happened.

I swing the door open to see Tori playing dolls with Darcy. Damn'it I forgot Darcy was still here. What the hell is Tori doing here?

  "Where the hell is Cam?" I don't mean to yell at Tori cause she's nice, but I'm freaking out.

  "Cam left. Here's your daughter." She emphasizes the word daughter.Wait!

  "How the hell?"

  "Darcy told Cam that she was your daughter, and I guess everything with Vanessa made sense to her." She shrugs and she slightly glares at me.

  "Where is she? Where. Is. She!"

  "I don't know and quit yelling at me! She left like and hour ago." Tori grabs her bag, hands me Darcy and walks out the door."

Ugh that means I have to call Vanessa.

  "H-Harry?" Her sobs fill the phone, but I don't care.

  "Pick up your damn kid from my beachhouse!" She gasps, and I tell her the address.

After I hang up the phone, I put the sleeping Darcy on the couch. I feel bad for the kid for having a lying mother, but other than that she can just leave.

I grab my keys and walk out the door to my car. I left a note on the door.

        Vanessa YOUR child is             inside. Don't touch anything just get her, and get the hell out!

As I'm driving to find Cam, my heart is pounding. The fear of her leaving me makes me nauseous, nor being able to see her, or hear her voice again makes me want to cry.

This is my fault though, to ask her to watch someone else's child while I go out with the child's mother is well I can't find the words to describe it.

I just hope she will take me back and we can forget that this ever happened.
