The party ended up being a success I had a lot of fun surprisingly. I guess I miss judged Jason.
"So your a Summer clone now?" My friend Marie asked.
Marie was another good friend of mine she was just like me, a wallflower.
She had shoulder length straight light brunette hair with blonde streaks in it. She also had green eyes and a medium tan skin. She was also kind of short.
"No, I just wanted to have fun what's the crime?" I asked trying to open my locker.
"No crime. You just don't seem like the party type." Marie said opening my locker for me.
I smiled as she did, I could never open my locker.
"Just tell me your not doing this for some boy you met." Marie said looking at me concerned.
She had a point in where I shouldn't change myself for a boy. Except I wasn't changing myself for Jason, I honestly was still the same person.
"Hey haters." Summer said walking over to Marie and I.
Marie and Summer didn't really like each other that much. Summer liked being loud and crazy. While Marie liked the quiet and classy polite side of life than crazy and daredevil like.
"I'm not a hater." Marie said clenching her notebook.
Summer just rolled her eyes.
"Hey Rivers you were the life of the party last night." Jake said giving me a high five then walking over to the rest of the guys at the center lunch table.
"Hmph." Marie said pouting.
"Come on girls lets sit." Summer said guiding us to our table.
I was feeling anxious whenever Marie had a pouting moment it was usually about Summer, but this time I knew she was pouting about me which didn't make me feel good.
"What now Madame Bitch?" Summer said scowling at Marie.
"Nothing, and don't call me that." Marie said pulling a napkin out of her bag.
It was about to go down and I was not one for confrontation if you couldn't tell, I kind of was spineless when it came to fighting and arguments.
"No your pissed cause I agreed that Jocelyn should go to the party." Summer said dropping her spoon on her tray.
Marie rolled her eyes. "You never let her decide you just walk all over her and tell what she should and shouldn't do Summer!"
I was hurt by Marie's words, Summer never walked all over me or made me do anything I wasn't comfortable with. She was an amazing friend who sometimes made bad decisions.
"Your such a bitch!" Summer said to Marie glaring at her.
I wanted to speak up but I couldn't find the words all that came out of my mouth was word vomit.
"Rambo-she" I yelled.
I slid down and lowered my head the whole cafeteria had heard me yell.
"What?" Marie asked looking at me concerned.
Summer just let out a huge laugh. "Jocelyn are you still "drunk" or what?"
I couldn't help but laugh with Summer. I had made a fool out of myself last night and danced with a freaking lamp!
Marie got up from the table and left.
And to be honest I wasn't upset, she kind was giving me bad vibes and I felt that I couldn't really talk about how much I had had with Jason and his friend L.A.
"Let her go Joc-Joc." Summer said eating her noodles.
"Is that my moms leftovers?" I asked looking at Summer questioningly.
"No.......maybe." Summer said trying to hide her smile.
In the end of this drama filled lunch I had realized that Summer was more of a friend than Marie, and that if I wasn't allowed to have fun with friends and crushes.
Maybe, I don't know yet if I do have a crush on Jason yet or not I guess I would need to spend more time with him maybe.
"Well looks like the big bad wolf is coming over." Summer said pointing at Jason with her fork.
Now I had butterflies every time Jason was around I had butterflies and I would get really sweaty all over especially my hands.
"Hey badass one and badass two." Jason said sitting down next to me.
I got tingles in my body I honestly have never felt like this before. Is this the feeling you feel when you have a crush on someone?
"So how you feeling since you had to break up with the lamp?" Jason asked sarcastically.
I laughed. "I'm doing fine now, but I don't know if the lamp is."
We all laughed and joked about the party.
Jason accidentally placed his hand on mine when adjusting in his seat. When his hand touched mine I felt tingles and a Taylor Mercury song started playing in my head with trumpets and violins.
He quickly moved his hand from mine.
"Sorry Joc didn't mean to touch you." Jason said not looking at me.
It was weird after he touched me he got tense and quiet.
"Omg he felt the sweat on my hand and got disgusted!" I thought in my head.
The more I tried not to sweat the more it happened.
"Jocelyn you okay, you look sick?" Summer asked.
The bell rang for fourth period.
"Saved by the bell." I thought.
"Well I guess I should walk you lovely ladies to class." Jason said winking at me.
I let out a muffled laugh.
"Yeah sure whateve's." I said trying to cover up my awkwardness.
Holy Schnitzel! I finally knew that I actually did have a crush on Jason Goulding. Why though, why was I falling for the bad boy?
"Lets go Casanova." Summer said grabbing my arm.
We all had science together with Ms. Yu. I was happy and nervous at the same time. I was happy cause so could spend more time with Jason, but nervous because I was spending more time with Jason.
"Okay you got this Jocelyn." I said to myself, trying to build up confidence.
I was going to take  a seat in the front, but then Jason chose the back. I let out a deep breath, and moved to the back with Jason.
"Princess chose the back today." Jason joked.
I laughed. "What can I say a bad girl never sits In The same place."
