End of The World

The Beginning of the End: part 1

I follow my usual after school routine: ride a city to the station, catch another city bus to go home, and go home. I get on the city bus that picks up students from the high school that me and my best friend, Jake, go to. He always rides the bus with me because we live in the same neighborhood.

On our way to our houses, I noticed that people started eating other people. Then, i noticed that the bus only had me and Jake on it, no one else was on. I remembered that when we got on thr bus, the driver had a bite mark on his hand that looked like it was from a human. Everything was starting to creep me out.

"Jake, have you noticed anything weird happening today?" I asked Jake, leaning over to him.

"I haven't noticed anything weird today, why?" Jake asked me.

I showed Jake what was going on outside he window. i looked to see if the driver had noticed what was going on outside the bus, but the driver wasnt at his seat. he was standing in front of me, trying to grab at me and bite me. i ended up kicking the driver in the head and he smashed his head on the ground, breaking it open. his head, not the ground. Jake just looked at me with a what-the-hell-just-happened look on his face, i shrugged it off. Jake leaps from his seat to where the driver was seating mere minutes ago. them i noticed that the bus was going to crash, i leap from my seat and go to the same area of the bus that Jake is. I grabbed his arm and pulled him to the back of the bus because it was safer than the front. The bus crashed, Jake was behind a seat and i wasn't so i almost went flying to the front of the bus, luckily jake had grabbed me before i was sent to the front.

"you ok?" Jake asked me. i just nodded, out of breath. "lets get out of here."

we left the city bus and saw that people were surrounding us, limping closer and closer. one guy was missing an arm, one woman had a huge chunk of flesh out of her throat. it was then that i realized what was going on; it was the end of the world...
