I slammed my hand onto the steering wheel in frustration. Once again, my crappy car had broken down, and I was stuck at the edge of town. Sighing, I dug out my phone, pressing the call button. After a few rings, my mother finally picked up, and I heard her tired voice on the other end. Quickly, I checked the time, cringing when I realised how late it was. She must have been fast asleep when I'd called.

"Hello?" Her voice crackled at the other end through my cell. Foolishly, I'd left my smartphone at home, and I was forced to rely on this backup.

"Hey mom, it's me, Shawn. You know how I was going to visit you tommorrow? Yeah, well my car broke down so I might be a little late..." I let my words trail off, waiting for her reaction.

"Oh, honey, in that case you shouldn't come until you get that car fixed tommorrow."

"The shop that I usually send it to is taking a couple of days off. You see, Joe's daughter is having her 5th birthday soon, and he's planning a party for her," I explained, balancing my phone in between my ear and shoulder as I stepped out of the car, flashlight in tow to try and gauge how much damage was done.

"Oh. In that case, you dont need to come. It's summer break, just make sure to pack extra clothes because I'm going to be making you stay from next week all the way to the end of the holiday!" My mother declared, "Honey, go home and get some rest. Call a tow truck while you're at it. Now that you're coming later, I can prepare for extra chocolate pudding!"

My mouth watered at the prospect of pudding. "Thanks mom. I'm gonna go now, goodnight!"

"Goodnight to you too, dear." She said back, before the line went dead.

I opened the car hood, blinking. I was neverthe best mechanic, and I had no clue what was wrong, didn't even know if I could've fixed what was wrong.

I slammed the hood shut, before quickly calling a tow truck. When the man came to help out, I tipped him, before stalking the few billion miles home.

As I entered the neighbourhood, a slight drizzle began, before quickly escalating into a huge downpour. Ominously, lightning flashed in the sky, as if warning me to prepare for the worst. I sighed, wishing I hadn't left my umbrella in the back seat of my car. I picked up my pace, sprinting towards my house.

I sighed in relief when I turned the corner into my street, and slowed into a steady jog, grinning when I reached my house. I dug around in my pockets for a key, sliding it neatly into the lock before quietly pushing my front door open, so as not to disturb Clarissa, my girlfriend.

I shrugged off my leather jacket, hanging it on one of the pegs by the front door. I frowned, jerking my head up. I was sure I'd heard a sound.

There it was, again! It sounded a little like a moan, coming from... my bedroom? Heart beating fast, I snuck up the stairs quietly, before pausing behind my closed bedroom door.

My heart fell as a long series of moans flew out, clearly from Clarissa's mouth, followed by those of a man's a few seconds later.

"Clary, why don't you leave him?" My eyes widened as I recognised the voice of Richard, my best friend. Like me,he wanted a career in the music industry, aspiring to be a famous rapper.

"Come on, Richie, you know I want to. But don't you like this? Isn't it more exciting sneaking around behind his back, instead of being public? Besides, he's collecting a bit of a fanbase. He might strike it big, and I'd be rich," Clarissa said.

"I'm good too! I have a bunch of fans, or at least Machine Gun Kelly (A/N that's his stage name) does." Richard sighed, "I guess you're right, it's fun sneaking around. You're sure he's away?"

"Come on, Richie, don't you trust me? He's away at his mom's."

"Momma's boy," Richard sniggered.

I steadied myself, blinking back the tears of anger, sadness and confusion that threatened to spill. Deciding I'd had enough of eavesdropping on their gloating, I slammed open the door, feeling pissed, breathing heavily. Richard and Clary stop their make out session, staring at me in surprise. Quickly, Clary disentangled herself from her Richard, hugging the blanket around her bare body.

"Look, babe, it's not what it looks like-" she began, but I cut her off.

"I heard everything. Get out of my house!" I spat, before turning my glare onto Richard, "You, I thought we were friends. Now that you've openly tossed out the 'bros before hoes' rule out the window, I'm going to tell your fiancè that you're cheating on her. With my girlfriend."

Richard's eyes widened, and he scurried out of bed, quickly tugging on his clothes before rushing forward, begging profusely for me to reconsider. I ignored him, and instead stared coldly at Clarissa as she grabbed her stuff, cheeks flaming, walking out the door, head bent in shame.

I watched as the cheating asses marched out the front door, before collapsing in a heap on the floor, sobbing profusely, water dripping from my hair down onto my cheeks, mixing with my tears. I glanced out the window.

The sky was crying for me tonight, crying for me losing the person I thought I'd loved the most.

Hey guys!

This is the first book I'm writing on this account, and it's all going to be a bunch of fanfictions.

So, basically this is going to be a Shawn × Camilla. Before this whole series starts, I want to get a couple of things straight:

Number 1: I used to be a fan of Shawn, but now I'm more of a casual listener and I dont know a great deal on what's happening in his life.

Number 2: There wont be regular uploads. This is more of a thing I spit out when I have a writer's block.

Number Three: I'm going to write a sequel called I Know What You Did Last Summer which is set after No Promises, and it's going to be about Clarissa bumping into Shawn again and trying to get him back in her life. By then, Shawn will probably be dating Camilla, and it's going to be set in a year's time, next summer from this whole book.

Anyways, that just about sums it up.

Love you guys, have a good day!
