Blah, blah, blah was all I could hear from this tour guide. I was in the back like usual and I wasn't fond about these trips. Every year they would bring us to the same schools and all were in Texas. I wanted to see out of state ones, you know the Ivy League schools Princeton, Harvard, Yale, even Stanford. I wasn't going to even try to hear this lady.

I started to take pictures of the university when I saw a beautiful tree, it lay upon a path that guided in the middle. Usually I wouldn't let my photography control my life, but I had to get a closer picture. I looked back at the group of students, and shrugged my shoulders. I wasn't going to let them hold me back. These shots could be great in my collage that I am making that is a part of my resume to get into college.

I started to take pictures of the tree and wonder about the significance of how the legend of its magic made two individuals fall in love and become soul mates. I looked back at the group, they were walking farther away. I knew I had to hurry. I took a couple more pictures and then started to walk back. I was head down viewing the wonderful images in my camera. Wow I never thought a tree could be so marvelous, I thought.

I took my satchel off to put the camera away when a force slipped under me that made me fall as well as my camera to the concrete floor. A heap of pain drained towards my knee. Forget my knee I thought, where's my camera?

I looked to my sides and saw a hand take hold of the camera, "Hey that's mine!" I yelled at him. I got up with any strength I had and could feel the pain in my knee. It became harder for me to stand up, when hands lifted me up from my elbows. I stood up limping.

"I'm so sorry, my board had its own mind".

I was too angry to even look at the person of the voice. I grabbed it and saw scratches on the lenses. Really? I thought as I tried to remove them as if I could. I looked into the view of the camera and the lenses viewed only specks of people. Are you kidding me?

I gazed up at the felon who destroyed my expensive camera. He wasn't a felon at all. He was someone I wished came into my life and broke my camera a long time ago. His face was so precise that only an angel could mimic his facial shape and his little stubble that appeared on his lower half. He was someone I knew in the depth of my memory, but no official memory of my past could conform it.

He had a concerned face and I could see his deep brown eyes were filled with sorry. I couldn't help, but not be mad since it was an accident.

"Its fine," was all I managed to say before heading on my way to my classmates. I wanted to stay for longer, but I couldn't. I knew I would get in trouble so I took one step at a time and tripped on the third.

"You need help, come on," he said grabbing my arm and strapping it around his neck. His skin was soft and although I knew better than to fawn over some stranger, the thoughts ran through my mind because he was irresistible. I looked back at my school group as they headed towards a two story building that looked new. He began to take me in the opposite direction, and I could not deny his help, since he was being nice and caring. He took me to a building that had many bicycles in the front lawn. He opened a door leading me to a shallow hallway.

He opened the door and it was a bedroom, his I assume. It was neat, not like I would think a college guy's would be. There was two beds, probably one for his roommate. There were posters plastered on the wall of a television show called Supernatural. I never heard of it, but he seemed to have loved it since there was about twenty posters. He led me to the bed so that I could sit. The navy blue covers were soft and fluffy under my bum. Once I sat he went to a little freezer and took out some ice and put it in a plastic bag.

"Here, this should help," he said handing me the bag. I laid my leg on his bed and put the ice on my knee, feeling the coldness touch my bruised skin. He sat down in a desk chair facing me.
