-Derek-Five hours after I left the prison, I find myself standing in a heavily wooded spot overlooking a good sized cabin. I know the book must be inside the house. I've already put together my master plan. I know that the family here has three kids, all boys. The boys are all at their boyscout meeting, and the wife's out visiting her mother, she's supposed to pick the boys up tonight. Now I just have to get the husband away from the house. How, you may be asking. Well, this is how.
I've already set up a homemade explosive a little ways back from the house, in a small grove of trees. Once that blows, he'll probably come out to see what that was, and I've got that planned too. While he's over trying to see what happened, I'm gonna send his car downhill and into the lake at the bottom of the hill. Unless he stops it in time. Hope he's got insurance.
I hold the detonator in my hand for the bomb in the trees. I close my eyes. 3-2-1, I silently mouth. I press the detonator and I can hear the rumble and the crackling as the leaves and trees around catch fire.
"What the hell was that?!?" Comes a voice from the house. The man comes outside with a shotgun in his hand. He cocks it and looks around. I picked my hiding spot well. He walks off in the direction of the explosion. I get quite a rush off explosions. Quickly I grab a rock and smash it through the window of his car. I reach my hand through and unlock the door. Then I take the wires and quickly hotwire the car. I look back just to make sure that son of a bitch isn't back yet. I slam the gear into drive and toss the rock onto the accelerator.
I hop out of the car as it starts driving down the hill. I tumble back into the bush where I was hiding. "MY CAR!!!!!!!" I struggle to stifle my snickers as he runs down the hill casing after his car. "Damn kids!!!!!" He yells.
I wait 5 seconds, and then rush into the house, staying low. I keep whispering book over and over. Where could it be? I check the living room, kitchen, and dining room. I run into the parents' room. I go over to a box that says, Julie, presumably his wife. I pick up a pile of papers and junk until something catches my eye. I reach down and lift a stack of papers.
"Hmm, file for divorce. By the way it was crammed in this box, I'll bet she hasn't told him about it yet. Maybe she'll tell him today. If so then Hubby's just having a bad day." I sigh and toss the stuff back into the box. Its not in this room. Maybe it's in the last place I'd think to look. I mean who'd give their kids an evil spell book.
I head into the kids room. I look around for a bit, but I'm getting nowhere. I see a bunch of trophies, sitting on- Wait, that's it. I run over and push the trophies onto the bed. The book. It's called Alcatron.
I pocket under my left arm, and run outside. So far so good. I head into the woods, laughing. I make sure to pit enough distance between me and the house, and then I slide under a tree, and open the book... Until someone snatches it out of my hands.
"I'll take that," says a voice.
