The lady (who's name I still couldn't remember) turned her head towards the Judge, signalling that she was ready to testify. "I know that some people would like this trial to be over as quickly as possible, so I'll speed things up by saying that my name is Cay Oss, and that my occupation is a tour guide."

"She sounds like she's been in a courtroom before." One of the defence attorneys, Mr. Amaya, noted. "Well, that or she's watched some courtroom dramas."

"Witness, since you seem so ready, we might as well begin." The Judge said. "Please tell us everything that you know."

- What I witnessed -

- "I was cleaning up after all of the tours had finished, when I noticed that the basement door was open."
- "That door hasn't been opened in years...at least, that's what I've been told."
- "I thought it was weird, so I went inside."
- "I found the defendant on the floor, followed by a body of a heavily bleeding person..."
- "...after regaining my composure, I ran for help. There was nothing else that seemed weird at all."

"We never got to investigate the basement, did we?" Ms. Amaya pointed out. "That would been useful right about now..."

I was distracted by someone whispering behind me. I turned, noticing Chrysalis waving her magatama in front of me.

"Hey, Ant! Pass this to Felicity and Sky for me, would you? There's something they need to see." She winked, carefully giving me her magatama. "And be careful with that! It's not like I can buy one from the corner shop..."

I nodded, throwing it towards the defence team. Luckily, Mr. Amaya caught it (with a bit of struggle). I didn't have any idea what Chrysalis saw, but it must be been important to have to get my attention.

"What was that about?" Polly asked me, noticing my actions.

"Chrysalis j-just wanted me t-to pass something to the d-defence." I told her. "No biggie."

Polly sighed. "Sure...although, I'm fairly certain that this will harm my case. Again."

"Defence, you may begin your cross examination." Said The Judge, somehow not noticing what happened.

"I'm so going to be a spirit medium!" Yelled Ms. Amaya. "Watch me, Sky!"

"Just use it to find the contradiction..." Muttered Mr. Amaya in return.

- "After regaining my composure, I ran for help. There was nothing else that seemed weird at all."

"It's doing the thing-!" Ms. Amaya screamed, whilst waving her arms around wildly. "Sky! There's those lock thingies!"

"Will the defence please explain to the court what they mean?" Polly spoke up. "Not everyone owns a magatama, you know..." She was jealous. I could tell.

"Witness, you're not telling the full story on something here." Mr. Amaya deduced. "Why do you feel the need to lie?"

Ms. Oss rolled her eyes towards the defence. "You wouldn't believe me. This is a court of law, not any of the Ghostbuster movies..."

Ms. Amaya jumped up and down excitedly. "Wait, you saw a T-3 ghost?! Did you did you did you?!"

"I-I'm not sure what T-3 means..." Ms. Oss stated, looking confused. "...but I, um, did kinda see a ghost..."

*OBJECTION!*

"Ghosts are not real!" Yelled Polly, making me jump in the process. "I refuse to accept this!"

"But I saw her!" Countered Ms. Oss. "She...she looked like that painting of the girl that was locked in the basement...!"

The gallery filled the air will gasps, all shocked at the fact that someone just claimed they saw a ghost.

"See?! I told you ghosts were real!"

"I never thought that a ghost would be involved in this case..."

"Order!" The Judge demanded. "I agree that the claim is...questionable. May the witness please explain more about this 'ghost' that they saw?"

"When I came downstairs...it was standing over the body. She stared at me for a couple of seconds before disappearing. I-I was too focused onto it to notice anything else..." Ms. Oss told us. "...I could've sworn that it was there! I even have a photo!"

"You have a photo?!" Polly gasped, quickly catching on. "Please present this photo to the court!"

Ms. Oss showed us the photo that she took. On it, a floating ghost was standing over the victim, the ghost's dress fading into nothingness at the bottom. It scared me quite a bit, so I quickly looked away from the photo.

"That sure looks like a ghost." Mr. Amaya commented, scanning the photo carefully. "I think this picture needs to be analysed carefully..."

"Are you saying that I faked it?!" Ms. Oss stomped her feet in anger. "I didn't! Check it! Double check it!"

"If we were to do that, this trial would have to be extend by another day." Polly noted, tapping the prosecutor's bench impatiently. "Do you want that?"

"The defence would LOVE an extra day of investigation!" Ms. Amaya piped up. "It would give us time to look at the basement in more detail, and we'll even work out the truth behind this ghost thing!"

"Well, we may as well delay the verdict for another day, since I'm also interested in finding out about this ghost." The Judge decided. "Without anymore delay, court is adjourned!"

"D-Do you really think that there w-was a ghost there, P-Polly?" I asked her, still freaked out from the photo.

"Ghosts are not real." She told me, shaking her head. "It's all nonsense. There's a trick somewhere here. And I'm going to find it!"

"I'm s-sure you will!" I smiled back at her. "If someone is d-determined enough, then they c-can do anything!"

"Alright, Anton. Let's get you some lunch, shall we?" Polly grabbed my hand and started to lead me out of the courthouse. "What do you want today?"

"C-Cinnamon rolls!" I yelled out. "They're so tasty!"

"Okay...but this is a treat. Cinnamon rolls aren't for lunch." Polly shook her head. "Remember that..."
