06 - { leo x guang-hong }

promise

leo stood in front of the hotel bathroom mirror, fixing his hair relentlessly. he pulled at some of the strands slightly, they were reaching just above his shoulders and maybe it was time for a haircut.

he pulled his hair into a low ponytail but took it out. he was so nervous for today he couldn't decide on anything.

he had come all the way to china to visit guang-hong as a surprise. he was hoping guang-hong would be okay with this.

leo had also been practicing a song called promise by romeo santos. he was going to do some sort of a serenade to him, but he didn't know what to wear.

he finally decided on a white button up shirt with an orange bowtie and his black converse shoes. slightly formal, but still casual.

ring. ring.

"leo? what's up?" guang-hong said through the phone.

"the stars, the moon. more specifically the stars in china." he was hoping he would catch the hint.

"china? why the st- oh my goodness are you at china right now?!"

"yeah, and i was hoping you would want to come to the black dragon pool. right now." leo paused, waiting for his answer.

"uh-um sure. i'll be there in around 20 minutes. can't wait to see you." leo smiled through the phone and hanged up.

"bear!" leo yelled guan-hong's nickname loudly before running towards him and hugging him tightly.

"i've missed you," guang-hong said while letting go of leo. His freckled cheeks were a light pink shade from blushing, it had been a while seen leo had called him his nickname.

"is it okay if i still call you bear? i hope it's not too embarrassing or anything," leo winked and took a step back away from guang-hong. leo's hand rose up to guang-hong's cheek and rubbed his thumb over his freckles.

"you know i love that nickname, i will never grow old from it." he smiled brightly while looking up into leo's eyes.

"hey, i have an um... i have a surprise for you okay." leo remembered his plan, and he wanted to complete it as soon as possible. "just close your eyes for a bit." guang-hong nodded.

leo took out his phone and clicked onto the song but without the actual singing. he cleared his throat just as the music began.

"he perdido el balance por tu amor," leo sang softly. guang-hong opened his eyes confused until he noticed leo had taken off his large hoodie and now looked much more formal than before.

"en tus manos yo caí, tienes control sobre mi. Tu cuerpo es la cárcel, y yo un prisionero. y llamas quiero salir, condenado soy feliz." leo winked at guang-hong, which was still confused because he couldn't understand the lyrics. but the music sounded very... romantic?

"try to keep my balance but i still fall. but why'd i fall so hard, right into your arms, i swear boy." leo took out a single rose from his pocket, guang-hong blushed bright red. this was definitely a love song, most likely a serenade. he took the rose and held it closely to him, the thorns had been cut off already so it was safe.

"quiero ser tuyo enterito pero tengo miedo. prometeme que no me vas a dejar sin tu amor.  i'll give you my heart boy but you got to promise. promise you'll hold me, touch me. love me, way past forever." leo smiled brightly and walked closer to guang-hong. he held his hands and continued with the song.

after he finished the song he kissed the younger boy's hand and asked," guang-hong, bear, would you do me the favor of being my boyfriend?" 

guang-hong didn't know how to react so he just nodded and hugged leo tightly. leo lifted guang-hong's chin up and whispered,"is it okay if i kiss you?" he nodded and leo pulled him into a soft kiss.

"i've been wanting to do that since forever."

media: the song is a very cute song by romeo santos (ft. usher). it has both english and spanish lyrics and i thought it went well with this ship bc leo speaks spanish probably.
