Chapter One:

Escape

Angels are said to be what humans become when they die and have lived a virtues life. Only the purest of heart and sprit have this privilege bestowed upon them. When a human has lived their life to its full potential, and have helped others along the way they become angles when they depart to the Other World. The practice and participation in devious and malicious actions results the soul being sent to the Under World. It has also been said that once you die, your  are gone for ever, however both sayings not wrong but not completely right either. There are both dark angels and light angles each fighting for souls.

Death is not real, yes the physical body can be lost but the soul is forever alive being recycled between the Under world, Other World and Life. Souls can be snatched, coxed and redeemed from each realm. It is a constant battle and cycle that has going on since the dawn of time.  There are both dark angels and light angles each fighting for souls for their respective realms-

SPLASH

Ellenorah carefully closed the book she was reading. It was an old book, covered with withering leather it had no title, and the pages were in their last stage of yellowing.  The book was so thick that it was often mistaken for a dictionary.  As she packed up her belongings, light breeze caressed her skin and she shivered. Ellenorah stood up and sighed as her toes made contact with the sand looking at cell she smiled  it was seven in the morning. She had been here for eight hours. Time to find a place to live, or rather hide as nice as it is the beach is not the best hiding spot. Looking out toward the sea she took a gulp from her water bottle and nearly drowned.  Coughing and hitting her chest with her right hand she nearly had a heart attack too.

Walking out of the water like a God was the most gorgeous man she had laid eyes on. He looked liked Poseidon the God of Sea. He was about a hundred and fifty meters away, she couldn't see his face clearly but knew without a doubt that he was good looking. The outline of his body showed that he was well built and tanned.  Poseidon advanced toward Ellenorah and she stood there frozen. The closer he got the more of his features she could make out, he was indeed  a looker.  Hello!?!?! Her brain screamed we are not here to ogle men, no matter how sexy they are time to go. You have a bus to catch! Unless you want Manuel to catch up to you!  That did the trick there was no way she was sticking around to see her bastard of an Uncle Manuel.

With that thought in mind Ellenorah picked up her bags and walked as fast as her size seven feet could carry her.

                                                   *************************************************

Ellenorah reached the bus station, just as the bus pulled up if she had stayed another second lusting after Poseidon she would have been stuck here. She got on and sat in the last seat available.  Placing her duffle bag under her chair she pulled out her book and laid it on her lap then checked her phone. Twenty missed calls and twice as many texts, scrolling through her phone she saw that most where from Tessa Dale her only true friend. Not caring about the other text she opened the ones from Tessa.

~ El I know u said u need tym but it been 2wks comin 2 c u <3 ~

~ @ the door open up! <3 ~

~ I’ve been trying 2 call u so pick up...... <3~

~ Girl u starting to piss me off, u know I hate being ignored!!  <3~

~ Seriously wat u r doing is not healthy... <3~

~ Ellenorah im not kidding, answer my texts and calls or else...~

~ I’m starting 2 think ur dead 2 wat the hell is going on?! Plz tlk 2 me here~

~ WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?!?!? Clearly not at home cause i broke in! ~

After reading a few of Tessa’s text Ellenorah was reminded why she had turned off her phone for the past week. Guilt flushed through her body like waves over rocks. Unconsciously she place the book on the strangers lap beside her leaned forward and took a Kleenex from her duffle bag.

“Would you please put that thing some where else?  Who knows where it’s been and its running my clothes” sneered a middle-aged woman. She looked like the forty year old version of Barbie, hair makeup and clothes was perfectly done. Pointing her French manicured finger at the book the woman made a shooing motion with her hand. “Uh, I can’t believe I have to take the bus... so nasty... I’m going to castrate him when I see him” she mumbled to herself.

Wiping her eyes Ellenorah apologized to the woman but took her time placing her book into her duffel bag, to woman’s annoyance and her satisfaction. The book was not filthy despite its appearance it was well taken care of, a book that was written by her great-great-great grandfather and coveted by museums and libraries around the world. The woman glanced at Ellenorah from the corner of her eyes, sniffing then with a dainty sigh she pretended to examine her nails. She kept glancing at Ellenorah as if she expected something.

With nothing to do and her book gone, Ellenorah leaned her head against the bus’s window staring out at her surroundings in boredom. Becoming self conscious of the woman’s constant stares she pulled back from the glass and looked at her reflection
